About this deal

The horn is soft, so provides a slightly different texture compared to the rest of the toy which is plastic.

When play time is over, the toy is not too big and bulky, so we just pop it in the corner of the room until the girls are ready to play with it again in the morning. It’s perfect for small nurseries and playrooms. Key features The fact that it has dual function plus the interactive element makes it a great Christmas idea for kids. The fact that it’s a unicorn is the icing on the Christmas cake!

My youngest is very nearly two and raced all around the downstairs of our house on the unicorn. It’s the perfect height for her to sit on and push herself along with her feet. I would say she is about average height for her age group. Enter the Baby Clementoni Interactive Ride On Unicorn. This sweet little toy has galloped in and saved the day for us. Fitted with a sensor, the horse recognises movement and engages the child with realistic noises, sweet words and fun songs. The volume of the sounds is not too loud, which from a parents point of view is always a positive! As the buttons are pressed, the little star on the unicorn’s face lights up.

The Clementoni Interactive Ride on Unicorn is available from toys shops including Smyths for around RRP 39.99, which I think is really reasonable for this type of large toy. I am yet to meet a little girl who isn’t slightly obsessed with Unicorns. They are EVERYWHERE. Unicorns, mermaids and even Llamas lately seem to be the biggest craze amongst little ones, and now as well as Erin, it appears that Neve too has fell slightly in love with the adorable mythical creature! Educational: teaches numbers, letters and animal names. Interactive: recognises movement and caresses. My toddler manages to get up to quite a decent speed while zipping around our living room on it, but it’s a really stable toy so I don’t worry about her at all. The electronic mane teaches kids their ABCs, numbers and colours, plus a few Spanish words if you fancy changing the language! The girls loved the realistic horse noises. My verdictUnicorns are soaring in popularity right now, and even our toddler is crazy about them! For little ones who love Unicorns, the Clementoni 3-in-1 ride on Unicorn is an amazing toy and it has been a huge hit in our house. If the child strokes the horse's muzzle, the stain lights up and the horse interacts with the child to get him or her to take care of it.
