About this deal

The P790 had a spin rate of over 5000rpm and a carry distance of at least 3 yards longer. Ball speeds were 2mph faster, and it launched higher. This was eclipsing the Callaway in every performance department and in my opinion it looked a little better. Not good signs for the Paradym other than I would say it sounded and felt a bit better - its wasn't as loud as P790. With the new PARADYM Hybrids, Callaway is hoping to redefine how golfers approach their long game. Featuring the new PARADYM Shift Construction, the hybrids’ Cutwave Sole design has been specifically engineered to help improve the club’s performance through the turf. When Callaway was first founded there was no such thing as a rescue or hybrid golf-club and the typical player's bag was much less diverse as a result of this. Ever since then, however, the level of study that has gone into the game has grown exponentially and has resulted in the identification of an opening between fairway woods and iron. This gap is where the Callaway hybrid sits.

Callaway takes the lead in design with their most important innovation being their Great Big Bertha driver. Not only was this the very first driver to be made using titanium (now symbolic of driver manufacture) it was the first in a long line of Big Bertha products, one of the most valuable sub-brands in golf. Golfworx are commited to delivering the best quality and value golf equipment around. We pride ourselves in it. However if you note a lower price in a like for like specification* we will beat - YES beat, any genuine proof of quote to us locally and nationally. On top of this, the navy and gold colour combination isn't my thing, I couldn't help but think these clubs looked like XXIO’s. These are very high end price-wise and very popular in Asian markets, this could be the route Callaway are trying to go down - who knows? Callaway is using the latest in technology to transform their iron range. With the new PARADYM the brand is combining distance with a high level of feel, to offer discerning players everything they have ever wanted. The PARADYM Shift Construction combines a Forged 455 Face with the all-new Speed Frame to give players what Callaway describes as “the best of both worlds.&rdquoWho’s it for: Aimed at mid to high handicappers who value a full-sized, wood-shaped hybrid that’s long and offers forgiveness. Improved launch is said to be achieved thanks to 67g of external and internal tungsten weights as well as adding improved speed on mis-hits. The Test

Drivers with adjustable or moveable weight, for instance, the EPIC and newer Big Bertha iterations enable you to alter the centre of gravity and modify the shot shapeof your chosen flight. If adjustability is not what you like, there are numerous options which have been put in place by Callaway HQ for maximum performance such as the XR and Rogue models. A forged face and urethane microspheres (of which we have seen in the past Callaway since Mavrik) are said to deliver the ultra-soft feel and premium sound that discerning players demand. The new Callaway PARADYM Fairway Woods utilise the completely new construction in the PARADYM series to eliminate weight from the body and reposition it for unprecedented gains in speed and MOI. Each of the three models has been uniquely designed to offer specific players their maximum performance.

We’ve continued to invest in A.I. we believe it is the future of golf club design. For Paradym it was focusing not just on launch conditions but also downrange distance and dispersion. We have an aerodynamic trajectory code that means we can simulate where the ball actually lands and use the face deflection to try and optimise launch conditions for the most distance and tightest dispersion. The topology of the face is unlike anything else out there and unique to the model based on the player type and expected impact location. It’s complex and required very advanced manufacturing methods but we’re proud of what we’ve created and golfers are really going to enjoy the benefits." WHO’S USING THEM ON TOUR? Callaway Golf was founded by the late Ely Callaway, who operated using a simple business assurance: Deliver Demonstrably Superior, Pleasingly Different goods and services. This idea turned what was originally a boutique producer of high-quality wedges and putters into the world's biggest manufacturer of high quality, performance golf products. Callaway makes everything needed to play the game and operate at a number of price points with products remaining in the product range for Eighteen months to two years. After testing the Paradyms alone it I liked them, and if I hadn’t put them head to head against the the P790, my verdict would have been very different - unfortunately for Paradym I did and the results speak for themselves. One of the things I loved most about the previous generation Rogue ST Max was how playable it was. Yes, it was long but it was easy to hit and that was the key point. It seems that with the Paradym, Callaway has retained that user-friendly performance that can make all the difference. Without having to swing the club too hard, I was consistently able to hit straight drives with good distance. A Callaway head is always fuller, more rounded and usually satin in its finish. If you are already a Callaway player, you’ll be familiar with this good looking head. It reminds me a lot of the Mavrik Pro Irons in the fact it is fiery and low spin. Would I Use Them? The biggest compliment I can give them feel-wise is that the head shape and compact size looks like it shouldn’t produce the distance or the ball speed which they did, which is always a great combination. Performance In July 2023, Neil became just the 9th editor in Golf Monthly's 112-year history. Originally working with the best coaches in the UK to produce instruction content, he has also presented many Golf Monthly videos looking at all areas of the game from Tour player interviews to the rules of golf.

The Paradym irons feature a compact head with a shiny satin finish. The topline, blade length and sole are all in proportion, nothing was too big or too thin which was pleasing to the eye. Callaway Golf. In the case of a Callaway Golf component, you must obtain warranty service through an During testing I found the 6 iron effortlessly cleared the 150 yard carry mark with my longest shot reaching 160 yards in carry. My average ball speed was 108mph with a peak height of 81 feet. But this was just the start of thing to come. The FT series introduced carbon to the manufacturing process (winning a few majors along the way) with FT-i being the first model in a short-lived experiment with square heads. In recent years there's been a focus on ball speed which has led to driver faces getting slimmer which raised some durability issues. Jailbreak technology (first seen in the EPIC driver) fortifies the load-bearing capacity of the face by means of two bars which run sole to crown directly behind it. A new hollow body design features Speed Frame construction for added stiffness to the body and support for the high-strength Forged 455 Face Cup. This construction placed inside the head is be referred to as 'jailbreak for irons' and stabilises a thinner face for fast ball speeds.Fact Finder: This oversized hybrid offers moderate offset, high launch, mid spin and a semi-draw bias. You can expect excellent versatility and forgiveness. Beyond the carbon chassis, Callaway have unveiled a new A.I. Designed Jailbreak system that’s 33% lighter than its predecessor. Used to enhance stability and ball speeds, the new Jailbreak is designed to increase stiffness in the body for more face flex and increased ball speeds.
