About this deal

I have friends on here and in real life who are women, men, gay, straight, black, Asian, Hispanic, etc. Publication information is for the USA, and (unless stated otherwise) represents the first print edition. This is the world for women living in America after a newly elected president shakes up the entire culture. These nonfiction, high interest, pre-recorded stories are the perfect learning facilitator for our budding readers! Look at the proceedings with Kavanaugh, and how everyone rushed to discredit the woman who claimed that he had tried to rape her, and how many disgusting excuses of men literally toasted the successful discrediting of this witness with the "Beers for Brett" or "Bubbly for Brett" hashtag.

We purchased these with the intent to reach the reluctant reader portion of the population but they are successful in so many other areas as well, including early readers, ESL readers, and for children that just want to hear a book multiple times. it just needs some conceptual tightening; it’s missing that extra spark that would bring it all up into “amazing debut” territory. That compelling visual speaks to the success and popularity of VOX books as a format that resonates with today’s parents and young readers. When the men in black come knocking, needing her specialised knowledge, it gives her the opportunity she’s been looking for.Though these books aren’t meant to help with teaching children how to read or even supporting beginning reading skills, they are great for building pre-reading skills, like turning pages and listening. The author has somehow managed to take a unique plot line with limitless potential and turned it into a Christian and male bashing rant of epic proportions (full disclosure: I am not a Christian nor am I a man. What set this one apart for me is the questions raised by the characters, causing me to wonder about my own responses as well as my present activities.

XD You need to talk with your kids, it’s very important and with restricting women to only 100 words it’s a wonder their world still worked. It’s the keyboard warriors who feel like they should post nasty comments on every internet article and tweet that they consider “Unchristian”. heads badly shaved, grey smocks and publicly branded as "sluts" and "whores" by those from their communities. If I had all my rights taken away and all I could do was speak 100 words a day or even CONSUME 100 words a day, my life as I know it would cease to exist. It was particularly haunting to alternate reading this novel with listening to the third Maggie Hope mystery, set primarily in WWII Berlin. From the Bookseller interview Vox is very much in line with the current boom in feminist dystopia novels and with those of the past as well. Just because they don’t choose reading as their favorite activity, doesn’t mean they should miss out on the joy of stories and storytelling. Dalcher offers examples of how language denigrates women in common parlance, without getting all, you know, hormonal about it.
