When the men in black come knocking, needing her specialised knowledge, it gives her the opportunity she’s been looking for.Though these books aren’t meant to help with teaching children how to read or even supporting beginning reading skills, they are great for building pre-reading skills, like turning pages and listening. The author has somehow managed to take a unique plot line with limitless potential and turned it into a Christian and male bashing rant of epic proportions (full disclosure: I am not a Christian nor am I a man. What set this one apart for me is the questions raised by the characters, causing me to wonder about my own responses as well as my present activities.
