The colors tended to feel a little heavy – not unusual for the era – but they were more than acceptable. The First Evil wants to destroy the world once and for all, and Buffy and company need to respond when it looks like they might lose. But, since there are some folks who might not own the series already and are thinking about picking it up, here’s what you’re going to get content-wise. Against her will and aided by mechanic Pike (Luke Perry), Buffy goes from flighty high schooler to the potential savior of humanity. It’s worth noting that Season 3 is still missing the Previously On openings (although some overseas releases managed to incorporate them on a few episodes).

Merrick tells the teen that he's been sent to train her to fight vampires, and he proves himself by displaying his supernatural powers. If I did check out Slayer in 1992, I can now say why I don’t remember: it’s an eminently forgettable film.
