About this deal

I spoil the whole story and plot twists so read at your own risk. There are also trigger warnings below! 🚨

There was an age different between us. Twelve years weren’t something you could easily disregard. It never bothered me, though. Our main male character is like that. He has been torturing the love of his life, his favorite woman, his obsession and his savior since they were in high school. Satisfied with the water temperature, he stepped toward me, rolled me over on my stomach with the tip of his loafers—like I was a sandbag—and leaned down, pressing his palm to the base of my spine.

The tension never drops, it gets more and more exciting... It is such an unforgettable reading experience... And Auntie Tilda, wilting inside her hospital bed, her breath rattling in her empty lungs like a penny. While all that was underway, Kill had to deal with a lifelong nemesis, Adam, dealing with his brother being too stupid for his own good, and everyone else in the storyline that just thrived on annoying him. We see a hostile takedown of Adam, Persephone’s husband’s momentary return, and a big secret that Kill’s been hiding the entire time, one that would explain why he is the cold man he is.

The words surged out of my mouth like a blizzard, making him freeze midstride on his way to the door. He turned around, his face a perfect mask of harsh brutality. And my last Belle complaint... WHY DID SHE HAVE TO PROPOSE TO DEVON Y'ALL MY GIRL IS DOWN BADDER THAN ZENDAYA WITH TOM HOLLAND! I know it's totally a Belle thing to do but not for that crusty dusty old man... Belle baby get up you're embarrassing me!!! Sometimes I want you so much it hurts to breathe. Sometimes the pain from breathing is a nice distraction from wanting you.”we all know LJ's latest releases have not been particularly... good... but honest to god i had HOPE for this book. am i a fool for that? definitely, but Emmabelle was the only character i LIKED in this series. she wasn't the typical LJ heroine and we loved her for that!!! and Devon hadn't appeared a lot but I never hated him, which is more than I can say for the other heroes!! and then when I heard that this would be a pregnancy romance? 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ i know most people hate this trope but I RAN SO FAST!! cause i'm a whore for pregnant heroines and cute little babies 🥺 It was what I admired about him the most. The thin film of properness engulfing the chaos teeming inside him. I knew that underneath the flawless exterior laid something untamed and dangerous. Not Even At The Heat Death Of The Universe Would I Believe These Two Could Build A Life Together After All That Baggage And Abuse. Rich, powerful, influential, and—at least, according to the rumors—with enough skeletons in their closet to open a cemetery. I couldn’t breathe without thinking about what a monster I was underneath my clothes, underneath my flesh. And then,

Anyway, all issues with the plot aside, I really enjoyed both Vicious and Vicious and I can’t wait for other books in the series. Dean and Help were just a fling. They’d be broken up by the end of the month. He was going to dump her—hopefully with her virginity still intact—hurt and angry and looking for a rebound. She’d be fragile, insecure, and vindictive. He may be known as The Villain, but he’s a product of his neglectful upbringing, his familial pressures and his drive for control. She is by far the best Boston Belle girl, Aisling wishes she had an ounce of Belle's strength, Persy wishes she had a personality as sassy as her sister and Sailor. well, Sailor's already ugly so we can't bully her too much. (pls don't cancel me for saying this 👉🥺👈, Hunter said it first 🤧). Boston Belles The Villain is certainly a book with potential. Even though the focus is supposed to be on Kill, it’s Persephone that shines throughout. She’s the one we see go through difficult decisions, having to work through those, just trying to make it out alive in the cruel world she’s in.But what crept me out more than anything was the "author's excuse" of his cruel treatment of the heroine...so his traumatic past warranted his demeaning actions towards her and other women he slept with?...but where is the demarcation line that has to be drawn between the flawed but redeemed Hero? This is a story in which boundary lines have become blurred. Yes, this book is perceived as "fiction" but this is meant to be the romance genre and therefore, the hero can be seen to be flawed, but not an amoral abuser. And we were supposed to believe that this Hero would love and cherish the heroine at the story's conclusion? His supposed love for the heroine? Could not withstand the lure of "other women" even after he knew what he was feeling he still cheated...Nothing was sacred to Vic. He came across as terribly immoral. So that love was strong but not strong enough...10 years seem like a long time realizing his true love for the heroine. The redeemable aspect of Vic and the emotions that it was supposed to stir somehow did not feel real to me. The cherry blossom represents the fragility and magnificence of life. It’s a reminder of how beautiful life is, almost overwhelmingly so, but that it is also heartbreakingly short. As are relationships. Be wise. Let your heart lead the way. And when you find someone who’s worth it—never let them go.” Let’s make a deal,” my aunt suggested, laughing breathlessly. “As you know, clouds are more reliable than shooting stars. Common, but still magical. When the time comes and you grow up, ask for something you want—something you really want—when you see a lone cloud in the sky, and I will grant it to you. That’s how you’ll know I’m there watching. You only get one miracle, Persephone, so be careful what you wish for. But I promise, whatever your wish may be—I will grant it to you.” Emilia knows him as a brilliant lawyer, a beautiful liar, a skilled criminal, lover, monster, bully, and savior. Ten years ago, Vicious Spencer had made Emilia run away from her small town. Now, he has come to New York to take her away with him. Vicious sees Emilia as a starving artist. When she had come into his life 10 years ago, she had turned his life upside down. But, he made her pay the price. Now, Emilia hates him for treating her badly. Vicious is not done with her and intends to cause more harm. He knows that she is aware of his darkest secret and wants to keep her in fear all the time so that she doesn’t reveal that secret to anyone.

Emilia was a heroine that was easy to love. She was kind, caring, selfless, quirky, creative, hardworking, playful, and beautiful. Watching her put her dreams on hold to care for her sister was truly touching. The way she endured so much hardship, but never let that keep her down was inspiring. Her complete acceptance and enduring love for Vicious despite his many flaws was moving.I’d always been the servant. Me, my parents. Vicious was right in calling me HELP. Not that it wasn’t rude, but it was the truth nonetheless. From his Dark sense of humor to his approach towards life, the way he thinks, the way he carries himself. The heroine has ZERO spine. The hero is a total jerk. Nothing makes sense. NOTHING. It's like everyone is an idiot!!! AND THIS WAS IN THE NAME OF ENEMIES TO LOVER TROPE.
