No, all of our products contain barley, which is not gluten free. How do I get the sprinkle lid off the Sarson’s bottle?

So I get home and attempt to get the lid off the flip-top to fill it up. Except I can’t get the sodding lid off. Instead of it being a screw top lid, it’s now fitted on solidly and you can’t twist it or pull it off. How stupid is that?! Vinegar does not require a best before end (BBE), because vinegar does not expire. Do I need to remove the sprinkle lid on Sarson’s Vinegar products?All our bottles are recyclable and the lids can be left on, please do not attempt to remove the fitted sprinkle lid.
