You can see the pronounced screen curvature in the image above which is likely to be one of those things you either love or hate. These results are in Game Mode with the Picture Mode set to 'Custom', Local Dimming on 'High', and the HDR10+ Gaming setting in HDR Tone Mapping set to 'Advanced'.

The default ice blue or any colour selection brings a personalised touch to your monitor and its surroundings. If you are using adaptive-sync, which you will probably want to do on a screen with 240Hz refresh rate, then this setting is disabled anyway.

We didn't notice any of the same flicker issues, but you can still see the same scanline issues with specific test patterns, as seen here. It also gets bright enough to fight glare if you want to use it in a well-lit office, and the reflection handling is very good. It also has a low contrast ratio, and while it has an edge-lit local dimming feature, it doesn't do much to improve the contrast, and blacks look gray in the dark. For high refresh rate gaming, VA panels were a little bit later than other technologies when it came to offer 240Hz support.

It's so fast, that action begins instantly when you turn on the screen, with virtually no delay between your peripherals and the game. The response times reduced slightly as the refresh rate was lowered, but generally remained similar across the refresh rate range down to 60Hz, and without introducing any additional overshoot which was excellent.
