About this deal

Drilled into that fabric, on the right-hand side, there's a headphone/aux socket, while just above that, on the plinth, are the on/off switch and rotary speed selector (45/33rpm). The Stir It Up turntable should be pretty easy to set up, but my review unit was a little more complicated than it needed to be. So I recently ripped it all out and replaced it with a sound bar, but I struggled about what to do for a turntable, since I really do enjoy vinyl. is an automatic, belt-drive turntable that comes with a built-in pre-amp, along with USB connectivity for converting your favourite vinyl to digital files. Lift the tonearm using the lever and carefully place it at the beginning of the record or the beginning of a song.

The trickier part comes when it’s time to add the weight to the arm, to ensure the record plays smoothly without scratching. It took a couple minutes at most, and I was able to place my record immediately after and enjoy skip-free listening. Besides the few minor details mentioned, it's tough to find anything wrong with House of Marley's turntable. The cover and body are clad in REWIND fabric made of 40% recycled PET plastic, 30% reclaimed hemp, and 30% organic cotton (although I would prefer a traditional hinged plastic cover, personally). While you may still sleep easier at night knowing you’ve spent your money on a quality, eco-friendly product — and hats off to House of Marley for being one of few audio companies making this a priority — are the upgrades worth the extra dollars? Embrace sustainable craftsmanship and unparalleled audio quality with the House of Marley Stir It Up Lux Bluetooth® Turntable.

Luckily, the low-end boominess is easily reined in with some EQing, and music with tighter kick drum hits like rock and hip-hop actually benefit. The belt for the House of Marley Stir It Up Wireless turntable is already wrapped around the platter. Listeners who care about planet-friendly manufacturing will find a lot to like across the company’s product line. There’s zero mention of the concept, something that will cause frustration for new users unfamiliar with turntables. If you need advice or support for your product, please in the first instance contact the support provider using the number on this support page. The instructions clearly describe how to slide the counterweight onto the back of the tonearm and then balance it for playback.
