About this deal

The personalities of each of the characters really shines, especially through the way they interact with one another. The central idea of the film is whether ‘home’ is more important than ‘house’, whether the virtue of old-world understanding is more important than the more transactional love of today. I liked Sharon and I think Thomas had potential to be the more interesting of boyfriends – it’s a shame neither featured more in the story. There was just too much going on with her character in terms of her backstory and none of it really changed her as a person. Rahul Desai of Film Companion gave 3 out of 5 and stated "The film merely uses “space” as a generic trigger to communicate the city's diverse stereotypes. She’s appreciative of her family and friends, of the world she has created for herself, her business and her reputation. It would be so easy for the breast cancer to define Penny, to be the thing which is associated with her, but it doesn’t all. Originally scheduled for a theatrical release, Anand Tiwari eventually sent the film's final cut to the executives of Netflix India, who approved to release the film online.
