Harry Potter: Film Wizardry does just that: a scrapbook that encompassed the decade-long saga, where everyone from the producers, directors, and production designer explain in details how they conceptualised some of the plot points and settings; and the actors, including the three stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, hit memory lane to disclose some of the best, funniest, and sometimes most uncomfortable times they had playing Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the films. Harry Potter Film Wizardry is a book by Brian Sibley that relays a comprehensive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Harry Potter film series. In truth, the two books are totally different - "Film Wizardry" attempts to provide a rush of memories and energy from a well assembled scrapbook format, where as "Page To Screen" is more like an encyclopaedia. Part of it's charm is that it looks like someone has created a personal scrap book of mementos and collectables from the Harry Potter movies.
Well, maybe this is nothing more than a glorified movie magazine in book form, but it gave me plenty of entertainment value.Do you want to know why the ice sculptures at the Christmas Ball never melt, where galleons, Sickel and Knuts are minted and how to get a hippogriff to work with actors? There were some pages that were just about one actor/actress and how they felt playing the role and some pages had bits that were about an actor/actress looking back at a funny/embarrassing/ memorable moment.

Overall the pullouts and book are awesome (when present) these pullouts and maps make the book but Ian the listings it neglects to outline what exactly is missing which is unacceptable.This is the perfect book to sit down with a son or daughter and pass the pages looking at the pictures and re-living the magic of the films. I was even more impressed when I realized the attention they paid to detail, and that makes sense given the high quality of the films. How they made the amazing magical stuff that the movie is filled with it whether clearly viable or even insignificantly but related to the world of the movie and the full picture. Bloomsbury, Scholastic, or any of the individuals or companies associated with producing and publishing Harry Potter books and films. But lo and behold, Heyman happened to be at a play one night, and sitting one row in back of him was 10-yr-old Daniel Radcliffe, every bit the boy-wizard they’d been looking for.
