I bought is because some relievers wrote that it's similar to Sun Moon Stars of Karl Lagerfeld but unfortunately it is far from it. I’m in my Elizabeth Taylor era when it was the 60’s and she was wearing loud paisley caftans and had the most beautiful bronze tan you can imagine, second marriage to Richard Burton time. I don't know what it was, but I detected NONE of the rich, creamy, peachy, soothing-spicy notes that others love.It is growing on me on the dry down though and it smells much better from a distance than it does when directly sniffing my wrist. To be fair, though, no one else seems to smell it on me, so it may actually literally be just my brain confusing what my nose is smelling. Once opened, I was shocked to find that the spray nozzle was made of cheap clear plastic and not the usual gold plated finish I was used to. My last husband loved it on me so much he always asked me if I was going to wear that Ruby perfume again.

The red rose aside, this is also a sweet peach perfume, almost like a Georgia peach, Southern, Scarlett O'Hara, a beautiful peach fruit that smells of the sweet fuzz and a bit boozy.
