About this deal

That being said, I'd have preferred Amo to have angry sex with Greta rather than with his wife sjsjsjsjsj. Right of the bat Amo is hooked on Greta I mean man was really a goner for her but honestly that’s not saying much in coras books he was sweet and probably the most loved out hero written by her if you want more devoted hero’s from Cora then you might like that change if you don’t.

The book is good to visit some other characters from previous books, their little appearances were satisfactory. When Greta is just riding her tractor around her farm and feeding her animals and Amo watching her from afar and smiling to himself. But to allow the Camorra onto your soil, into your house, and allowing them to KILL your members in front of other loyal members? I think that's something that should've stayed with them (and Matteo and Gianna as they already knew).I have no qualms about repeating that I loved Amo×Greta as a couple, they were still so adorable and cute together.

When Amo and Greta meet there’s a instant connect between the two and the two secretly steal a few moments together. Long story short, this would have been amazing if it was an arranged marriage between Amo/Greta and the two mafia families. Seeing them and the leaders they were born to be—never bending or letting themselves be influenced by anything, always taking decisions based on their convictions and following them to death. En el caso de Greta está su familia, Nevio odia a Amo y Greta y él son demasiado unidos, segundo su papá jamás la dejará irse de Las Vegas a otro lugar donde no la pueda vigilar y cuidar de todo peligro.Getting bits and pieces of the Capuleti Falcone and Montecchi Vitiello families gave me a warm nostalgic feeling I still can't shake off. Greta in the beginning is shy, painfully shy and so dependent on her family, that she can't even imagine leaving them to go study dance. Amo is still an incredibly immature playboy, who's father (Luca from Bound by Honor) is forcing him to marry a girl he hates.

The tropes combined, plus the writing of all cute, angst, funny, steamy, tense, and violent scenes gave this book a wonderful pace to follow, that made me not be able to put it down once I had started it. Of course I expected to love him (he's a Vitiello, and Luca and Aria’s son after all), but I guess just not as much as I did.Maximus stole the show, he is such an interesting character, and can't wait to read his story with Sara, the book kept us in the dark about it. Amo and Greta showed us plenty of angst, drama, loyalty, friendship, enemies, romance, forbidden love, star-crossed lovers, family, mafia, and friendship. Luca hold one of his bloody demonstrations where he gathers all the made men and they kill Cressida’s father/other soldiers involved. As with all of Cora's books this one paves the way to the future and we have hooks for Nevio and Aurora who is a sweet girl and Maximus and her love interest who will come as a surprise to some and not so much to others, I can't wait to read the story of these couples soon. I was super pissed at Luca for starting that gunfight while Remo and the others were in his territory for Amo's wedding.

Narration - as another reviewer pointed out, the narrators were different and not quite on point as previous narrators. My feedback is my opinion only and no matter how listeners differ on their opinions, never bash the talent behind the book. Both miserable away from each other with one drastic event leads to Greta wanting Amo again and the two start their secret affair again. He may not always act in the best way possible, but he knows what he wants, and I love that he also fights for his own convictions (and feelings). I’m scared for Sara’s story bc it sounds like something bad went down with the Bratva and Romero/Maximus want revenge. I loved their interactions, and actually didn't mind the insta-love, I believed that they were meant to be since day one. I’m still trying to get to terms with the situation of them being apart and one being tied to another woman and being with others while loving Greta. Narazie najlepsza z serii „Grzechy ojców”, bo poprzednie mnie jakoś nie porwały specjalnie, może dlatego, że dużo tu Camorry, którą uwielbiam.
