About this deal

She’s a college athlete about to skate for the last time, and nothing is going to throw her off course. She’s also trying to make the most of what’s left of college , and in particular her skater ‘career’ as she’ll soon leave all behind to find a job. And I love getting characters who have unique issues and hers was interesting and just made me love her more.

I thought there would be some conflict with Rhett's ex-girlfriend Carrie, but even that turned into nothing. Prepare yourself for all the FEELS, because Broken Hearts is Rebecca Jenshak’s most emotional story to date- and her most special. In our last book, I felt like the girls really got to shine, and in Broken Hearts, is the men who show out.But when Rhett and Sierra keep finding themselves sharing the same ice time and ending up at the same parties maybe Sierra shouldn't keep fighting the pull they have to each other. A few interesting elements are developped, like what it is like to live with a potentially deadly heart condition but still wanting to live, how to deal with a clingy ex. Broken Hearts is truly a perfect addition to this series, but also a really good book read as a standalone. She is determined to keep focus and won't let anything or anyone distract her from training so she can perform well. If you are looking for a fun and sweet college sports romance with great characters, look no further!

Their journey was like being on a rollercoaster of emotions, you go from the sweetest moments to the sexiest ones in a blink of an eye. This IS one of those books where we don’t meet the ow on page but she’s very much around all the time.Rhett is absolutely adorable, swoon worthy and sincere from the beginning, even tho Sienna thinks he’s a total player! I found really interesting how the whole group takes to her without really knowing her–I felt like they did because she wasn’t Rhett’s ex, instead of because of who she was.

It carried over in his new relationship with Sierra which showed that is just the type of man he is and it certainly made me fall harder for him.

Rhett and Sienna journey was an emotional rollercoaster as we follow them through their first not so friendly encounter on the ice (what a better place for a figure skater and a hockey player), to the blossom of a deeper feeling, to their insecurities and fears, to the hardest hurdle that life puts on their way, till their well deserved happy ending. Broken hearts is the third book in the series, but can still be read as a standalone which I did this time because I couldn't tone down the excitement over the hockey player/figure skater trope (! One thing I love about Jenshak's books is that they all aren't just revolving around one sport, but several. Both Sierra and Rhett are supportive of each other’s sport and understand the physicality of what it takes to be a collegiate athlete.

who she was a person), but Rhett stayed with her for multiple reason, which we find out in this book and honestly, once you get to know Rhett, he is loyal, sweet, smart, pretty much everything you’d want in a long term partner and I can see why Carrie – his ex – didn’t want to give him up.
