About this deal

To break the habit of being yourself, you have to think greater than the circumstances of your life. Joe Dispenza is a four-week companion meditation program to his book Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself. By placing your awareness on different parts of your body "in space" and on "the space around your body", as instructed by Dr Joe, you are altering your brain so that you enter into the operating system of your subconscious mind - where unwanted habits and programmes exist. To be clear, I do think that thoughts and desires can effect our own minds and bodies, that’s pretty much what self improvement or even self destruction are, but it won’t change things outside yourself (and even changing yourself is very hard, hence this entire genre). Meditation 1 starts with the Body-Part Induction while Meditation 3 starts with the Water-Rising Induction.

This is what helped me through cancer, but I just dived straight into the meditations from this and his other book. I’m pissed off with this book because the content is fabulous but the narrating voice is so off putting and monotone , it sounds like a robot from the 1990s.It will certainly charm you with large words your not familiar with, then make fictional claims that the cosmos will allow you to wish things into existence, which will help confirm those prior, incorrect biases. True happiness has nothing to do with pleasure, because the reliance on feeling good from such intensely stimulating things only moves us further from real joy.

In Part II of Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, Joe Dispenza provides relevant information about the brain to help you understand how meditation works to change your life. He built on this fiction by then claiming that your strong thoughts and prayers can not only effect yourself and others, but even past and future events. Dispenza ties information together to explain the roles these functions play in physical health and disease.He’s hoping that he has beaten you into such a stupor regarding the average persons understanding that he can then slip this past you. it's like the audiobook should have come with a pdf of the tables and charts and pictures he refers to in most chapters!
