About this deal

I would agree with an assessment that Pigs in the Parlour is not a healthy read. However, I am more and more convinced that most that we have called ‘deliverance ministry’ is not healthy. It has always had and continues to have mixed fruit. I suspect that any teaching or practice that gets Christians overly focused on demons is unhealthy, nay dangerous. Again that is from observations. I had no idea about Jesus being the most powerful in creation and I didn't know he is the saviour, and I didnt know this book was a christian book. I just thought they liked quotes from the Bible. Husband and I received a 30% of mains voucher through the door so thought we'd try this place for a late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday. Frank Hammond explains the practical application of the ministry of deliverance, patterned after the ministry of Jesus Christ. He presents information on such topics

F.R.E.E D.O.W.N.L.O.A.D R.E.A.D] Pigs in the Parlor A handbook for deliverance from demons and spiritual oppression. {PDF EBOOK EPUB KINDLE} Very interesting read if you want to follow a guy who claims to be able to cast out demons and evil spirits. If you want to follow a guy who claims that ALL other religions are false INCLUDING many Christian churches who he describes as cults. My last post about ‘Healing the Family Tree’ touched on the topic of ‘deliverance’ in the context of the Eucharist – otherwise known as the Holy Communion service. From what I have read so far about healing and deliverance (as a total amateur on all of this by the way who isn’t really even in a position to practise any of the stuff I read except maybe on myself) the administration and receipt of deliverance through the Eucharist is apparently a minority method of receiving ‘deliverance’. Most other stuff I have found to read so far on the topic describes a different method which does not use the Eucharist. This method is modelled on what is found in the New Testament – especially the Gospel accounts of Jesus life and ministry, where we see descriptions of how Jesus ‘did’ deliverance on people in need of it, who he met. All Jesus did was to speak words of command much of the time and it was recorded that the demons simply obeyed him and come out of the people concerned – all be it with sometimes a last act of anger such as throwing the person being delivered to the ground. See Luke to 4: 34 to 37 for one example. There are plenty of others in the Gospels and Jesus is also recorded as giving authority to his followers (his disciples) to do the same – see Luke 9:1.

Personally I have read it I think twice. It was one of a set of 5 books which a friend sent me from the UK on request including Derek Princes “They Shall Expel demons..and Rules of Engagement.. First, about half the items were off the menu. It was a Sunday evening so I guess that was excusable but it was disappointing. Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Isara Mo with 48 years of deliverance ministry experience, I have to strongly disagree. It is very unsound biblically and theologically I won’t go into details of all that Hammond writes as really they model the how to quite simply on Jesus way of doing it – such as this example as referred to above from Mark’s Gospel, Chapter 1: This book however could actually be quite dangerous for all the wrong reasons, if someone who was easily led and extremely vulnerable was to read this it could be extremely damaging to them. How demons enter, When deliverance is needed, Seven steps in receiving & ministering deliverance, Seven steps in maintaining deliverance, Self deliverance, Demon manifestations, Binding and loosing, Practical advice for the deliverance minister, Answers to commonly asked questions, and more!
