To navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu, use the buttons on the monitor. The monitor control buttons are usually on the right side , either on the side, front or bottom of the monitor. To access the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu, press Button 3 on the monitor. For the same price, you could get a much better 144Hz gaming monitor,a cheaper 24″ 1080p IPS display for everyday work or a more color-accurate display for content creation. However, the colors aren’t accurate enough for color-critical work. Calibration is required for the optimal image quality, and the monitor covers only ~97% of the sRGB color space. The monitor features an IPS panel with a 250-nit peak brightness, a 1,000:1 static contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angles, and 8-bit color depth. It’s a slightly improved panel than the one used in the Dell P2417H, which is the previous model of the monitor.
Where you put your monitor is almost as important as what model you buy. The monitor should be directly in front of you, at an arm’s length away (between 20-40 inches from your eyes), with the top edge of the screen at eye level when you’re sitting comfortably. If you want to use HDMI, set the display to its HDMI input, and in that case it wouldn't say "No DP signal" anymore. But if you're using a regular DP cable, that should work. If you have a P2419H C, make sure you're not accidentally connecting the cable to the display's DisplayPort output. The P2419H only has a DisplayPort input though. Image QualityBuilt-In Self Test - The Dell P2419H monitor has a built-in self test that helps you identify if the screen abnormality is with the monitor or the video card (GPU) on your computer. Turn off your monitor and reconnect the video cable: then turn on both your computer and the monitor. I connect my monitors using a DP cable, but it seems that my laptop cannot detect my monitors. I try to directly connect the monitor to my laptop using HDMI cable. But it seems that the same issue again it says that NO DP SIGNAL FROM YOUR DEVICE. I already change the cable but same issue again. I tried to update all the hardware, and everything using DELL Command Update and try to run using support assist and it says that there is no available update and no issue detected.
