About this deal

Zach has a condition; however, he wants Elliot to join him on a island retreat hosted by SlapDot the same company that Tony/Richard apparently worked for as Zach has uncovered something that makes him believe something bad is going to happen there and he agrees.

I looked back to the security feed and saw Officer Donahue slowly look up at the hidden camera, almost as if he knew exactly where it was.

This means that when things happen out of the blue, there isn't even a hint of shock or grand revelation due to it being so poorly thought out. It is worthwhile mentioning that if the length of this book were any longer, this would have probably been a DNF, but since it was relatively short and straightforward to read, it kept me going. Facebook has discovered that I am a bookworm and is now bombarding me with ads for all sorts of books. However, it wasn’t interesting enough to make me want to read the prison case files that are coming out next. However, we get two endings, we get one where Zach and Elliot go off on more dangerous adventures, Kierra dies and Noah leaves Elliot for good and takes custody of James and in the second which is the real ending where find out the first ending is the ending of Elliot’s latest book as he changes professions after the events of the island and they all lived happily ever after which these characters rightly deserved but it does make me question how much of the previous books was real and how much was Elliot dramatizing the events for his books.

Gosh, I cautiously perused the reddit site with the published stories thinking that these were legit composite accounts of therapy sessions.Every “file” is almost a short story, without the interesting “stuff”, like, you know, a purpose or even a plot. We don't have an article named WebOriginal/ImATherapistAndMyPatientIsGoingToBeTheNextSchoolShooter, exactly. Elliot Harper in prison, he starts treating his fellow patients- much to the chagrin of the actual prison mental health professional. Not in the scenarios that the patients presented with — but with the “therapists” course of actions. It turns out that Arthur abused Sam when he was a child and developed alternate personalities to help him cope.

Review: This is the final book in the Doctor Harper Therapy series, and I am sad because these books are dark, fast-paced, and amazing to read and I want more of them. I was really excited to read this series because there are a bunch of books that have really interesting, catchy titles, but unfortunately I likely will not read more. He gets too involved and unprofessional, not to mention illegal and beyond his scope of practice…in short, he’s just terrible at his job. The final patient file belongs to James as Elliot is finally able to bring the pieces of the puzzle together and rescue the boy he failed to protect before.Harper has posted as soon as possible over the last 2 months and I would recommend this series to everyone. Using a combination of psychotherapy and mindfulness, my goal is to guide patients toward realizing their highest potential. I think these started as a reddit post, if i remember right, and it developed into a trilogy of a psychologist who cannot stop mendeling into the lives of his patients.

Elliot isn’t sure whether he believes this, but Zhang’s reaction proves it as she says Chase’s trigger phrase which causes him to attack Elliot and bite off his ear, but he is getting closer to the heart of the mystery. However, his mother makes Elliot believe it is all his fault that his dad left leaving him with some psychological scars that he still struggles with today.Harper hears slowly start to come together, he begins to uncover information about a potential pedophile ring. There was a phase we all went through about 10 years ago, where we would flock to the movie theater to see horror films that were “based on a true story”. Harper’s character is more of a flawed hero who’s job description fits more within the realm of a private investigator, detective, investigative journalist or ghost buster. I love this book so much honestly didn’t put it down from the second I got it, I read a lot and get fed up when I’m able to predict how the story ends but this had me needing more every time. I would put this down to the simplicity of the language, plot and a general lack of having to think about anything to do in the story.
