Even though I have an issue with the box and how the tiles sit willy nilly in it, that is not enough for me to not give it high recommendations, especially to fans of tile laying games. Play continues until the architect has drawn their last tile and everyone has placed it in their own forest. That being said, one thing I love about Legendary Forests that I do not see in most tile placement games is the consistency between players’ tiles.

In this case, after tiles have been placed in the turn, each player selects a tree token to place on a corresponding colored forest area. As of this moment, only the Pink Zone and 1 of the Red Zones are closed (because they no longer contain any Half-Runes).Each non-purple edge of a tile has a half-circle on it; when two such edges are placed together, the owner of those tiles has created a "cookie" in that area. You end up with such a nice little forest scene as well, which is pleasant; I like tile-laying games a lot because they leave me with that sense of progression, and I think Legendary Forests is no slouch in that department.

You must try to plan ahead and make adjustments to your plans as you navigate the challenges of planet construction. What we didn’t expect is how quickly they would come to market and be completely different from anything else we’ve played. Each player has the same numbered World tiles, and play them at the same time on their individual planet to create color and Rune match-ups.This fills the bill nicely for those times when you’re playing with the younger set or when you want to be socializing at the same time. The mechanics are simple enough to teach a new player in a matter of minutes, yet it still has enough depth to keep seasoned gamers happy.

MockUp (8ビットモックアップ) (later republished as Legendary Forests) is a multiplayer solitaire game akin to Take it Easy! As with most tile-laying games, the two edges of the tiles you connect must match and you have to place a tile such that it matches up edge-to-edge against another tile. A more cut-throat player might even use the tree tokens near the end of the game to keep another player from getting points.
