In “World War Hulk”, Professor Xavier explores the Hulk’s mind, who is unusually angry at the time, and concludes that he is unlikely to overpower him without him hitting him in defense. Armor From Flesh – unlike the regular version of the character, World Breaker Hulk has the frightening ability to mimic his eponymous armor by molding his very bones into exterior armor. The Devil Hulk has already exhibited the ability to get creative with his own anatomy, but this is something that the Savage Hulk could never do. The Hulk and his Warbound next defeat the New Avengers, the Mighty Avengers, Doc Samson and the Fantastic Four (including Black Panther and Storm). The whole plot that revolves around the aforementioned “World War Hulk” is the Hulk's hatred of his ex-allies who exiled him and who he thinks killed his wife. Onslaught, however, managed to control him, as well as Apocalypse (although their dominance did not last very long).
