Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages.

But one of the hard limits is trying to excuse the behavior, and that's what this book does at every turn. The last 3 books I've read have all had overly submissive, nearly braindead females as the MC and I am so sick of it; they would take entire books or a whole series to grow themselves a backbone and it was purely credited to the man in their lives, so this was such a breath of fresh air! Is put as something that makes women horny and described on tiktok as a "hot and spicy book" WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK Y'ALL? Leon is a great example of "I hate everyone but you", but this dude is just hating her and treating her like absolute garbage.I just started reading this book and I’m to the point of their first intense encounter and he is literally forcing sex on her… i usually love a good story about a man who’d rip out a spine for love but there’s no excuse for the whole raping thing.

And then when I did, I immediately wrote it off, convinced no one would possibly want to read about a woman falling in love with her stalker. by the time Adeline started falling in love with Z, he had already done so much messed up stuff to her while thinking what he was doing, was justifiable, but at the same time, Z was disgusted by, and actively working to thwart pedophile, human traffickers, and rapists. From what I've read about whats in this book I really can't understand how people think this is dark romance? if you like super dark and kinky stuff thatll make you question your mental well being, this is for you! I would say that "dark romance" at this point in my reading career, is to hint at some form of sexual trauma and/or assault within the storyline. The fmc's inner monologue also didn't help because she never said that she wanted it but that she wouldn't admit it and blah blah.

Once I think 3 or 4 years ago I read a book on Wattpad I think the name was "the psychopath" the dude literally stalked her, raped her got her pregnant and killed her child when he kidnapped her and tortured for months and she still fell in love with him honestly don't know why it's portrayed this way but I think that authors define dark romance as when the guy does horrific unforgivable things to her sexually and mentally but she still ends up having romantic feelings for him. I can also understand why this type of book is uncomfortable or a DNF, as the themes in her book are seriously UNHOLY.

the book can be split up into three parts: 1, crazy stalker; 2, learning more about crazy stalker, 3, falling in love with crazy stalker.
