Hi Dong, well i hooked my router up today using my cable provider modem and bridge selection and i thought i set up 2.For example, on the 5GHz band at 40 ft, the Asus RT-AC86U is 837 mps and the Asus GT-AX11000 is 800 mps when both used with wifi 5 clients at 40ft. To test MU-MIMO throughput performance, we use three identical Acer Aspire R13 laptops equipped with Qualcomm's QCA61x4A MU-MIMO circuitry. Hello, i just was reading this post and review of ac86u, thought i should add my little experience info. We don’t do heavy gaming but we have a family of 4 doing lots of video chats, streaming, working from home, and an old NAS on a 1Gb Ethernet switch.Media prioritisation, when activated, seems on point and we noticed no discernible difference in gaming performance between this and the slightly cheaper Linksys WRT3200AC, though as ever the results are going to depend on the traffic in your home, your individual internet connection, and the speed of your brain and mouse. It's rare that you see a router with such attention paid to both security and gaming, but this one really does seem like the complete package. GHz average throughput of 164 Mbps downlink and 263 Mbps up, landed the 86U in sixth and third positions. It's fairly logical that 6705, 6710, and even 6715 were intended for newer hardware and not something essentially developed for an older Gen 2 Penta core design circa 2016.

You might think the 86U’s antennas are too high for the chamber antennas to properly capture their signal. Shame, I don’t think it’s the router’s fault (and it’s out of warranty now anyway) but I have had it on different channels before without issue. I've read that the problem may have existed only in previous Chinese built models, but not the later versions built in Vietnam.
