About this deal

They are dated on the side as I'm not sure of my DPO because the MC messed my cycle up. The last 3 days (09/10 - 11/10) I also started to use strip tests for more reassurance. The weird thing is that yesterday (10/10) is the darkest line I've seen on the FRER but when you look at today's test (11/10) its lighter than the last few days 😞 BUT to throw a spanner in the works and give me hope (justified or not) if you look at today's strip test (bottom of the 3) its the darkest its been....has anyone experienced this? There are several reasons why a Wondfo pregnancy test might give a false positive result. One common reason is a chemical pregnancy, which is an early pregnancy loss. In this case, the test was accurate in detecting the pregnancy, but the pregnancy was not viable. Other reasons for a false positive result include: It’s important to detect an ectopic pregnancy early because the fallopian tube can rupture if the embryo is not removed. This can affect a mother’s fertility, cause severe internal bleeding, and in severe cases, can even result in death (7).

If you’re not sure when your next period is due, aim to test at least 21 days after you last had unprotected sex. What other kinds of pregnancy tests are there? Many women refer to the ‘two-week wait’ - the period between ovulation and (ideally) a missed period, after which the hormone is likely to be present if you are expecting. Is a blue or pink dye pregnancy test better? Although the amount of HCG in your body doubles every two or so days, it can take a few days for that line to go from faint to dark (2). Levels of HCG can be detected in the urine after about two weeks from conception. The levels will reach their maximum at 8-11 weeks of pregnancy. It takes a lot more time to reach the stage of hCG production. So if you take the test before the missed period you need to be sure that your hCG levels are rising only because of pregnancy.

pregnancy detection rate when testing is done before the period is due, i.e., the percentage rate of detected pregnant results by day relative to the day of the expected period. Eight days after conception, hCG can be detected in the maternal circulation 13; a concentration of approximately 10 mlU/ml is observed in serum between 9 and 10 days after follicular rupture 14. As the pregnancy develops, the level of hCG increases at a rate of approximately 50% per day, reaching a peak of around 100000 mlU/ml by week 10, after which levels decrease and remain stable at approximately 20000mIU/ml for the remainder of the pregnancy 14, 15. All home pregnancy tests work the same way - by measuring the hCG levels in your urine- but when it comes to dye-based tests, which are the ones which give line results, there is some debate as to whether pink dye based tests or blue dye tests are better. Whilst this is a frequent topic of discussion on the Mumsnet Conception boards, the general consensus is usually that pink dye tests - such as First Response Early Result tests - are more trustworthy than blue dye tests, which can be more likely to show evaporation lines and even false positives. What are the best pregnancy tests UK? If you prefer, however, you can also ask for a pregnancy test free of charge with your GP or at your local sexual health clinic. If you are under the age of 25, you may also get a pregnancy test from your local Brook centre. How we chose our recommendations Products tried and tested by real parentsThere is no definitive reason as to why chemical pregnancies occur. Many believe they are often due to chromosomal abnormalities in the embryo. contraceptive pill (OCP) use is common in peri-menopausal women. Therefore, secondary amenorrhoea after stopping OCP can prompt women to use home pregnancy tests during peri-menopause, as can the irregular periods often encountered in peri-menopause. If the sensitivity level of pregnancy tests were set at concentrations of 15mIU/ml hCG or above, there would be no specificity issue; this means that the specificity of hCG of high sensitivity tests to detect pregnancy is reduced, albeit only to a small extent and only for the peri- and post-menopausal cohort. While nothing can be done to prevent an early miscarriage, you can talk to your doctor if you feel the need. If this has happened more than once, they might want to run tests to ensure there are no underlying issues such as low progesterone or other hormonal issues. You need to dip the hCG strip of the pregnancy test in the urine sample and wait for two minutes for results.
