The LFO's all have delay, fade in, 3 triggering modes, smoothing, start phase, one-shot mode so that they can act as envelopes and BPM sync.

I was most taken by the wavetable sweeps, glassy digital textures, pads and electric pianos, many demonstrating the excellent reverb. But for me, if you can't grok the basics of a synth from the front panel UI without a manual, something's not right.More than that, the synthesizer also includes a complex arpeggiator with comprehensive options for the note sequencing, direction, and probability. I could see it being more 'budget friendly' to have a single analog and a single digital filter per each of 8 voices, with a few modes to use these. I wish to present a bit of a pragmatic look into it from the perspective of someone who used it extensively for many different purposes, and has nothing to gain from reviewing it. full-fledged Oscillators draw their basic material from 219x Waveforms, with Oscillators 1 and 2 also providing Master Wave Scanning, which allows up to 8x Waveforms to be crossfaded or morphed. Depending on the model, the sound might be affected to varying degrees by the sample rate, lookup table resolution and DAC distortion, and this can add some apparent brightness and aliasing to the sound.

It requires a bit of tweaking stuff to develop convincing saw pads with no resonance and open filter because of this. If you were comparing a Novation K-Station with the V-Station plugin, that's a bit more fair, because the (supposedly) identical code should yield identical results. Standard PWM is on hand too, as well as 'Sqeez', a weird 'squash the waveform sideways' alternative. The first filter has 11 different filter models, giving you multiple options for tailoring your sound. You would generally be requested to enter the supplied activation code to activate the software and allow you to use the software on your specified computer or laptop.

No way to know this without the manual, but certainly beats assembling your own wavetable from individual waves each time, even though this remains a great but slow option. Almost everything in the synth engine can be a modulation destination including the effects and arpeggiator.
