The Yealink W60B is the DECT IP base station for small and medium-sized businesses. Paring with up to a total of 8 Yealink W56H DECT handsets, the W60B allows you enjoy mobility and flexibility. A powerful chip ensures a better and higher performance, allowing this DECT IP base station to support up to 8 VoIP accounts and 8 concurrent calls. You can also dial the Pound (#) key to retrieve the call parked against the number from which you are calling. A Blind (or unannounced) Transfer takes place when you transfer a call to someone else without announcing the call first. Press Up or Down to highlight the desired base (in most cases this will be Base1), and then press the OK soft key. The handset will now begin to search for the base station. Yealink W56H DECT Handset Overview

Enter the number manually: Press the Call key to access the pre-dialing screen. Enter the desired number using the keypad. If there are multiple assigned lines to your handset, press the Line key to select the desired line. Press the Call key, pound key, or asterisk key to make the call. When purchasing a Yealink W52P/W56B base unit and W52H Cordless handset(s) OR Yealink W60B/W70B base unit and W56H Cordless handset, through HostPilot or directly from a sales representative, the devices will automatically appear on your Devices list. Most of the provisioning process is plug and play, however, you still need to assign handsets to the base in HostPilot, assign users to handsets, and register the handsets to the base unit. Use speed dial: Press and hold the speed dial key to directly call a predefined number. Press the Call key when the handset is idle, enter the desired number, then press the Call key again to make the call.

Assigning a user to a handset allows the handset configuration to adopt information previously configured on the user. The handset will gain the extension number and any direct dial numbers assigned to the user; this means the handset will ring any time the extension or DID receives a call. When receiving an incoming call, press and hold the desired line key, then press the Park Softkey. This will park the call on one of the call park lines. If done correctly, a parked symbol is shown on the line the call was parked. Navigate to “Settings” → “System Settings” → “Handset Rest” → “OK”. When the message “Reset handset to default” appears press “Enter” and insert the PIN “ 0000”. Press “Yes” to confirm. To solve the problem of being unable to make outgoing calls on the Yealink W56H phone, follow these steps: Once the base unit lights are solid green you can start adding handsets to your base unit configuration in HostPilot.The base unit you received has already been pre-programmed to search for the Intermedia Unite provisioning server, and your W52B/W56B/W60B or W70 base unit has already been created in your Devices table in HostPilot. Provisioning will start immediately after the base unit is powered up and has detected an internet connection. The feature keys are the ones that you will use most often. They include the following: Talk Button – Press the Talk button to place a call after dialing a phone number or when answering incoming calls. When prompted, dial the extension number against which the call was parked, followed by the Pound (#) key. For the second year till, and including, the fifth year from the End of Life, Yealink will attempt to provide SW bug fixes. In the EOL support phase, a SW upgrade of the product to a newer existing release will also be seen as a fix to the SW bug. Providing a fix may not be possible in some cases due to the limitation of hardware or software architecture, and Yealink in its sole discretion will determine what fixes, if any, will be provided.
