The Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus includes Pre-Roll technology that allows for an additional 4-second video preview of each motion event. The Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus will automatically start recording before you receive an alert. If you already have another Ring device installed, simply open the Ring app. 3. If you have never set up your Chime before, it will automatically enter setup mode.
