For the repair of impact damage and flaking on washbasins, kitchen sinks, shower trays and bath tubs with enamel, ceramic (porcelain) and acrylic surfaces. lt;li>The kit can be applied for up to seven average size repairs: 2 components: filling compound with hardener, spatula, sand paper for the repair of ceramic, enamel and acrylic surfaces, repair spray.</li> I was advised by the manufacturer to put masking tape around the damaged area before using the filler to prevent over spread and oversanding on the small repair and this worked well. This advise is not included in the instructions. Wife caused a small chip in our recently installed bath, with this touch up kit and a few days putting on a layer at a time there is no way you can tell where the chip was.

It took ages to decide to buy this product, after a mystery chip appeared in the new bath - it wasn't me guv!

Remove loose pieces and rust.</li> I've been trying to find a satisfactory way to repair a chipped area of enamel in a steel bath. The difficulty is that it's at the bottom of the bath next to the plughole so is constantly getting wet. Brilliant worked wonders on my taps they look brand new I would recommend this spray it’s fabulous thankyou plumbworld

One of my friends is a double glazier of 20 years and even he was surprised how easy Fui's are to use and the qualtiy of the finish! The itemcontains anAerosol which is prohibited by Royal Mail, most standardCouriers& Air Mail services. alan_m - I didn't actually see the repair come off but guess that as it went from OK to chip exposed again near-instantaneously it must have come off in one piece rather than from the outside, so most likely better preparation is needed. I didn't treat the surface as the metal was exposed and appeared to have a fairly rough texture and to be in good condition so I just cleaned it with IPA cleaner, but I guess I should have cleaned it better at least. There is now a small amount of rust visible so I'll have to sand it off before filling again. I'd highly recommend this product, especially for all DIY sealant jobs around the home. Easily cleaned. Reduces silicone waste too. Really no mess...and hassle free to use. Handy box to keep profile tools clean, accessible and damage free!Used this product to repair a small chip in an enameled steel bath. The chip was caused when a screwdriver was dropped blade first onto the bath ! As bathroom fitters, we do alot of siliconing. The standard of our installations is high and our customers expect a very high standard in our finishing....Using the fugi makes any silicone job neat and easy. It is very useful for difficult areas as the silicone can be neatly wiped away leaving a neat and tidy seal and finish. Once you use this product you will never use anything else for sealing.. I followed the instructions carefully and used ethyl alcohol to degrease a chip on a ceramic sink. I left the compound in place for 12 hours and then very slowly sandpapered the surface ...do not rush this bit or you can have pullout. I really took my time and then used the finest paper (supplied in the kit) which polishes the surface. The chip is virtually invisible. Needless to say I was pleased. Its a good product .but you really have to take your time.
