In terms of using it as a paint for kitchen cabinets, it’s a great alternative to the brand’s dedicated paint because it’s available in a great selection of colours and leaves behind a unique chalky matt finish.

It is easy to apply, provides good coverage and is self-priming, self-levelling paint and water-resistant. I’m very happy with this product, and haven’t had problems with chipping or scratches in the two months since I painted the vanities in our main bathroom and in the en-suite.

Not such an issue for me since I tend to prefer several thin coats anyway, but be aware you may need to build up the coverage. High gloss finishes in general are easier to clean and are more resistant to stains, but if you're not a fan of the ultra-glossy look, a satin finish could be a nice middle ground. But it does take a week to fully harden so you’ll need to be careful to avoid any cleaning until then. CONS: There’s the odd bad review about durability (but as I said before they all have a few) but one thing that did come up a few times was an issue with the likeness of the colour.

The risk of further problems - painting any surface does not guarantee that you will achieve long-lasting results. For a beautiful eggshell finish that provides a mid-sheen, we’d recommend Lick’s Eggshell Paint range. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. However, with the continued emergence from lockdown regulations, we are now seeing huge demand for colours reminiscent of the sea, such as airy and fresh tones of bright blues and greens, that encapsulate feelings of optimism and new horizons. It may say it’s quick drying on the tin but it’s not as quick as you might expect or hope, but it’s worth the wait.
