I was just filled with this intense jealousy and desire be in love and feel that way. Then I wrote the lyrics to “To Love a Boy” as a poem, and I sent them to Jesse Harris, and he wrote that melody, and I loved it. It’s about this dream reality where you could love somebody in an all-consuming way, where it feels like when you’re swimming in the ocean on a hot summer day." The performance was not previously available and makes its debut on this vinyl release pressed on Galaxy Blue vinyl, coming first to record stores as part of Record Store Day.

The Stiff Records B-Sides 1984-1987 is a collection of The Pogues non-album Bsides from the bandÂ’s tenure on the famed Stiff Records label. This collection will be pressed on vinyl for the first time exclusively for RSD 2023. It was a privilege to work with some insanely talented musicians to put together these really different, special arrangements of a cross-section of our tunes. We added two new covers of songs that we love as a way of paying homage to the classic MTV Unplugged sessions we grew up on. With over three years of work put into his inaugural LP, Diabolic rose to the occasion and let the industry know they had a problem on their hands. In the production of the British Columbia-based Engineer, Diabolic found the ideal soundscape to complement his enraged, often self-destructive lyricism better than one could expect.
