The show follows Simon (Omar Rudberg) and Wilhelm as they deal with familial issues, friendships, and boarding school drama while also trying to find a way to be together. She thinks she is going to come out to her parents over the holiday, but then her male roommate randomly shows up and her family thinks they’re a couple. Scared to say anything, Lauren runs with it. It’s funny how the movie doesn’t feel like other forbidden love stories; it is funny, passionate, ambitious, and charming! Even though I don’t think this show needs a second season, Netflix has decided there will be another one. Let’s hope we get to see more of Lizzy in the new season!
