The Nania Trio Car Seat is made with material that can be removed and hand washed in soapy water at 30°C. Things included with the car seat I think you're all being a bit over dramatic. after actually reading what the saftey standards are and what these seats have to pass i think the nania seat is fine. We got it for my daughter and it is not flimsy and fits very well and if anything is better than an old gracco seat that we had.
