About this deal

To be aware of being in the presence of God all the time, is not subjective experientialism, it is reality. In fact, Romans 8:9 and other Scriptures teach that if the Spirit of God isn’t in you, you’re not a Christian yet. Why wait? Find out how to become a Christian today! Christians have the promise of God’s constant presence, even when we don’t feel it ( Matthew 28:20, John 14:16). 5. God Can Reveal His Presence to Anyone in Any Manner He So Chooses To experience the benefits of God’s presence , you need to study scriptures. The word of God helps us to sense God’s power in our lives. It makes us sensitive to spiritual matters.

Wisdom is essential; it enables you to know how to apply the knowledge you have in different situations in life. But it’s not so bleak and hopeless, because it is in that same world that Jesus Christ was born, ministered, died and claimed victory over death. God provides for all, believers and unbelievers alike. Jesus said, ‘He makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.’ (Matt 5:45) Paul said to unbelievers: ‘[God] did good by giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.’ (Acts 14: 17) And we do have a good, rich Daddy – we really do. He is the Ruler of all things, even time itself. He is good and loving and our connection to Him is everything. It is our lifeblood. Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord. They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness. ~ Psalm 89:15-16 NIV

Of course, the only exception is that He did not sin, but He was fully human… and in that we have hope and direction.

When we look to Jesus’ life and understand His humanity, we see that He is our role model. He shows us what it looks like to constantly be practicing the presence of God, for this is where Jesus’ strength came from. Are you broken? Do you feel like all hope is lost? Are you tired of being happy one minute and sad the next? Not only is God present in our world, he also invites us into his presence through his Son and his gospel. In Genesis 3, God’s judgement is to send out, to drive out sinners from the place where he met with them every day (Gen 3:22-24, 9). When God scatters his people, he judges them (Deut 28:64-68). However, through Christ and through his sacrifice, we are summoned into God’s presence. As we become faithful to host the presence of the Lord, we find a tension between two realities—that He has been given to us without measure but that we set the limits of that measure. Though all of the measurements are set up on our end of the equation, we can experience the measure of presence we are willing to jealously guard. Whatever you will jealously guard, that is the measure you will have on a consistent basis. All measurements in the Kingdom exist for us to pursue increase. The whole Kingdom is based on this principle: the faithful use of what you have been given is what qualifies you for more." - Bill Johnson Being hungry for His presence and desiring to be in the presence of the Lord on a daily basis should be our greatest priority… just to be with Him and seek His presence with all our hearts. We all live in His presence all the time, (“In Him we live and move and have our being” Acts 17:28) but not many people are aware of it.Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to The daily news. So much news is bad news, and we are humanly powerless to do much about much bad news. Whenever I think of an item of news, I turn it into a prayer that God would act, and that if he wants me to act, that he would prod me to do so. If you are going for an interview, see the Lord there in the interview room with you, putting answers in your mouth. Your nervousness will melt away as you see His favor on you bringing on smiles and approving nods from the interviewers. We become so preoccupied with the to-do list and so overwhelmed by the pace of life that we forget to look for God sightings in our day.” Calhoun – The Spiritual Disciplines Handbook, pg. 72

The truth is, if you’re a worship leader, there’s no better way to invest your time than practicing the presence of God. And it’s not as spooky or super-spiritual as it sounds. Essentially the writer is saying that we should receive the word of God and have it shape the way we think and feel, which is basically a renewed mind.

Brother Lawrence believed God could be invited into everything he did and His presence could be enjoyed anytime. For those of you who don’t know brother Lawrence was a chef in the 1600s and he lived in continual fellowship with God and because of this, he taught people what he learned. He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing. (Is 40:26). When humans refuse to ‘ honour him as God or give thanks to him’ (Rom 1:21) as they see his invisible power and divine nature in the creation, they are condemned.
