If you speak to the Dreamer Stingtail at Fort Joy, you will earn another journal entry. Note that Stingtail can die in several other questlines so make sure to talk to him early with the red prince. He will appear when you acquire the quest The Imprisoned Elf and have spoken to Griff in Fort Joy.

Lethally Stupid: As well-intentioned as he may be towards his family and Melromarc, the plans and actions he does mostly serve to further endanger or hinger their progress. We’re about to begin the battle for divinity and clearly the Red Prince is seeking divinity for himself alone. He will oppose me in combat. Practically Different Generations: Downplayed. Malty herself is two decades old and the age gap between her sister, Melty, is approximately half a decade. Indignant Slap: Hearing Malty insult her father's love under the belief she is being used as a reminder for Henrietta, Aldrecht slaps her face to shut her mouth and to listen to him clearly.

Gone Horribly Right: In chapter 57, she reveals more of Melromarc's history to give Naofumi a better understanding of Medea and does so by explaining Princess Mirellia's failures from the past. Although Malty succeeded souring Mirellia's image in Naofumi's eyes, it also causes him to have a greater distrust on Mirellia's older daughter, making the moment she reveals her true identity to him being more problematic in the future. From the canon portrayal of Mirellia, she and Aultcray had a stable relationship but it broke from the latter's idiocy to actively ruin the Shield Hero's achievements. Here, their relationship is strained from Mirellia's decision to send Malty to the King of Faubley and their relationship mainly happened because Aultcray just so happened to be a legendary hero. The Red Prince was waylaid by House of Shadows assassins. Once more they tried; once more they failed to slay the prince. The Red Prince met with a Dreamer called Bahara. They ventured into a nightmare to meet with yet another Dreamer: Brahmos. Red Prince seeks to meet with him on the mainland if he can, in the town of Driftwood. He spoke of 'the secret of his soul', whatever that may mean. Her princess identity gets accidentally soured by her tarnishing the failures of Princess Mirellia to Naofumi in chapter 57. By revealing Mirellia's incompetency to Naofumi, Mein had caused him to assume that Mirellia's elder daughter would be worse than the latter. At the same time, Malty is the one explaining everything the Naofumi and all it did to her is further complicate her chance to reveal her true identity.

O.O.C. Is Serious Business: To the mistakes Malty makes in his class, Aldrecht would point out her mistakes in complete detail and be honest about it. However, when confronting Malty for being ungrateful towards her father, Aultcray's, love in chapter 56, he slaps her face. Aldrecht's behavior was noted to be unusual by Malty, as Corporal Punishment was not something he believed in. Horrible Judge of Character: As part of his Doting Parent characteristics, he believes Melty and Malty to be innocent children that will never change and will always need his protection for their whole lives. However, while it may apply to Melty, Malty is an adult with her own ambitions to become queen, which makes her not interested in framing Naofumi for rape, compared to Aultcray doing so for petty revenge. There Is No Try: His advice for Malty to mend her strained relationship with Aultcray is for her to stop deciding on whether to try or not try, but to instead just do it and see if the outcome will truly change. Part of the reason she doesn't want to stay with Motoyasu is that she doesn't want to deal with the competition of three girls, something which further gives Mein a reason to stay with Naofumi. She’s viewed as an emotionless and shrewd strategist for her brother, the North Korean ruler Kim Jong Un. But just who is the "Red Princess"? At chapter 56 where she has a private discussion with Aldrecht, she is advised to reconcile her strained relationship with her father, Aultcray, but doing so would result the latter hating Naofumi even more under the assumption that Naofumi had brainwashed Mein. It causes Mein to realize the irony of her treachery and willingness to play all the sides being the causes of her downfall. Lady Macbeth: Downplayed. She lies to Naofumi at times and gives him specific information about Medea as a way to mold him into a hero that can help her become queen, but doesn't engage in suggesting he go commit villainous acts. We came across a lizard Dreamer called Bahara, only to find her dead. I suppose Red Prince will have to find another Dreamer - if we ever manage to escape from this island. If you just want to complete the quest normally without cheesing the fight (I just wanted the lizard to stay alive, which was impossible with my then current party), here's what I recommend. Evil Parents Want Good Kids: In Chapter 64, Raphtalia wishes to become a human like Mein or Naofumi to avoid associating herself with the filthiness of demi-humans, but the way Raphtalia behaves, Mein is reminded of her mental breakdown and Raphtalia being her would be a bad idea, since she is not the type of person Raphtalia believes herself to be.Red Prince looked into a magic mirror, which showed him that the Red Princess is somewhere in the city of Arx. He will have to seek her out there. Self-Proclaimed Liar: Inside her thoughts, she views her ability to lie excellently, be able to be a Living Lie Detector, and usage of Crocodile Tears as a type of skill that makes her an excellent liar. Likes Clark Kent, Hates Superman: As Mein of Samphor, Naofumi gives great trust towards her and tries his best to protect her, but with her true identity as a princess, Malty fears at Naofumi abandoning her for her pampered life as a princess. It takes Zylden to remind her of her bravery against fighting an Outsider God that while she may be "Mein of Samphor", she unleashed Supernova as a princess to save a village. Sheltered Aristocrat: For most of her life, she has spent her days as a princess living safely away from the angers of what's beyond her home. Once she chooses to take Naofumi as her hero, Malty assumes their adventure together can be easily handled. However, when faced with the first wave, Malty is shaken by fear from having been mauled by a Hell Hound monster and takes a more cautious approach in more potentially dangerous situations. Adaptational Relationship Overhaul: Exaggerated. Canon!Naofumi's relationship with Princess Malty was that they were bitter enemies until the very end. Both would gladly love for either one of them to die horribly in a gruesome death and Naofumi almost always refers to Malty as "Bitch". Here, due to Malty never choosing to betray Naofumi in his trial and siding with him as companion for the story, Naofumi has a trusting relationship towards her, and is willing to push past the hidden ulterior motives Mein has.

Princess Protagonist: She is the daughter of Queen Mirelia and King Aultcray, making Malty as the First Princess of Melromarc. She's the protagonist for having sided with Naofumi to use his reputation as a legendary hero to gain the reputation and credibility to become queen. Kim Yo Jong holds a multifaceted political role: on the one hand, she knows where and when to deploy her charm -- such as on a visit to South Korea in 2018. But she also issues warnings against the "imperialists” of Seoul and Washington. The documentary examines the personality and the career of the "Red Princess”. It also takes a current look behind the scenes of this totalitarian regime. The nuclear power is mired in a crisis that originated at the outset of the Cold War. I patiently sat through all his egotistical speeches and silently rolled my eyes as his obsession with vanity, never saying a word. Additionally, she gets easily lost focus on studying from books, something she never learned to understand, unlike her sister, Melty. However, while unremarkable at her studies, she excels at being The Social Expert Manipulative Bitch at predicting other people's wants, needs, and the political structures of the world. Note, before you approachthe consulate, make sure you have a swornbreaker on you. (either forged with the two pieces you found on Nameless Isle. Or one you acquired from The Vault of Linder Kemm) Adaptational Modesty: The canon version of Malty wears a revealing and good looking armor to wear as Naofumi's adventurer partner. In this story, Malty plans on buying the same revealing armor as her canon version, but Malty's choice to wear the armor is defied by Elhart. Elhart suggests that she wears leather armor instead, because the beautiful revealing armor that Malty plans on buying is only good for companying knights in court. Almost Kiss: Subverted. She and Raki first appeared as though they are learning to kiss each other, until Mein catches them on an act. Raki claims to not be kissing Raphtalia, but was instead attempting to teach her on how to feed an antidote by mouth. Later in chapter 58, Raphtalia and Raki were confirmed to not be kissing at all, and that Raphtalia's training actually saved Mein from poison. What do I do now? Can the prince advance his story now? Now that the Red Princess is dead, does that mean we can be together or does he just bug out and refuse to quest further?
