I guess availabilty of this replacement item is a bit scarce, as I could not find it that easily on the internet. If reolacing an old style button with two "half moons" you may need to remove (with a hacksaw) the half ring spacer on the large short flush actuator plate , as the new button is deeper than the old style one . It would have been nice to have the other two as spares as these are the ''weakest link'' with these type of products. Daughter had coped with only one side of her flush working - bought this and had her up and running with a decent flush very easily and quickly. That and the ratchets arent strong enough, so the rods slide up and push the button caps off, and that's if you managed to get them to stay on in the right pposition in the first place.

The two push buttons have so much play around them when you push them down they constantly jam in the down position, then when you try to wriggle them up they eventually 'spring up' and eject the chrome plated covers like an ejector seat from the bond car. That said, if you already have this type installed then it's going to be a lot easier to replace a broken button than have to have t he cistern off and replace the flush unit as a whole.
