About this deal

He has gone on to take the children’s literary world by storm, dominating sales charts and twice winning the National Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year.

Parker’s only friend, the gardener, gets turned in a huge, masculine bogey, who is so sticky that he sticks to all of the other monsters, and they make the mega monster! It is accepted by you that Daunt Books has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. Okay, I'm going to be kind with this one, I'm an adult reading a book intended for young kids and the one thing which irritated me is probably entertaining for children.

Overall, I think three stars is a realistic review - it’s fine, and children would find it entertaining, but if you are looking for a new classic, I would look eslewhere. These cookies help provide information on metrics the number of visitors, bounce rate, traffic source, etc.

When Larker is sent to the school, she quickly realises that VERY odd things are going on involving sinister Science teacher Doctor Doktur, a secret cave and a ‘Monsterfication Machine’. For more details, please consult the latest information provided by Royal Mail's International Incident Bulletin. David's books have now exceeded 100 non-consecutive weeks at children's number one, and have been translated into 53 languages, selling more than 35 million copies worldwide.I’m sure kids will enjoy reading it, but I expect a higher standard for quality literature, be it for kis, YA or adults. There are far too many characters in this book, all given stupid names and very little characterisation. I prefer his books that have a more tangled story such as The ice monster, The Beast of Buckingham Palace, even Code Name Bananas but maybe because I like the history element being thrown into them. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. The stories themselves are always well thought out and spark the imagination, and David Walliams does create unique characters and brings each of them to life.

A lot of children will probably still get enjoyment out of this, but it isn’t David Walliams at his best. In 2008 David’s first children’s book The Boy in the Dress was published, illustrated by Quentin Blake. It's a fast paced book and the illustrations within the pages help flesh out the story in the readers minds eye. The way in which the characters learn as they go through strange yet entertaining situations is thrilling for readers. Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook). A girl who likes telling jokes goes to a school for extremely bad kids, the school is on an active volcano and I’m not sure how the book got published, as there is so much child abuse and so much illegal stuff. This is another mess of a book by David Walliams, there are some good ideas but as a whole it doesn’t really work.
