Hannah: The only thing I think that could be improved is providing a container to use to freeze either milk or first stage food so that the defrosting setting is consistent as in the instructions it is only a ‘guide’ based on the container used. It did take me a f a few attempts to work out the best way to load it, but after a couple of attempts we have cracked the most practical way for us! I found both the express (just 2 and a half minutes) and gentle bottle warming functions to be excellent, although I did think the food warming function was a little fiddly and took too long.

I didn’t use it to warm breast milk but found the food warming setting way too hot (would be handy for defrosted frozen baby food).The fact that in the electric mode it sterilises in just 7 minutes is excellent and I love that it heats up milk so quickly and easily. Our Electric Steam Steriliser not only ensures your baby's bottles are left sterile for up to 48 hours, but it also can act as a bottle warmer in just minutes and is capable of defrosting and heating baby foods. But the best bit for me has to be the fact you can work it one handed while jigging your baby with the other!

The electric steam steriliser is quite noisy so if you don’t hear the beep I am sure you will notice how quiet it is once it is finished. The other functions of the product (bottle warmer and defrost setting) means it grows with the baby as when you stop needing to sterilise bottles you can continue to use the product, making it more convenient for the mother. This compact device, in trendy grey, can be used for either electric or microwave sterilising; keeping items sterile for up to 48 hours.The upper plastic drum can also be used as a microwave steriliser, while the electric steriliser base doubles up as both a bottle warmer (please note you should always heat milk with the teat and bottle top removed) and to defrost and warm food. Easy to clean sterilising container (warm soapy water) and descaling the base (soak overnight white vinegar).

Easier to transport than a larger electric one (for any overnight stays with the grandparents for example); 5. I understand the steamer attachment needs to be this shape to fit within a microwave, however I think it is unlikely anyone would use the product as both an electric steam steriliser and microwave steriliser.The control panel is easy to use and it beeps when it is finished, the beeps are a good volume and I could hear when it was finished from the living room, though my living room is quite close to the kitchen. It does state that it is an electric and microwave steriliser however it is too large to fit in my microwave so I couldn’t get testing this part of it.

The bottles are quite hot when finished but you are provided with some tongs to help handle the items until they have cooled down, though I left them in the steriliser until they were cool.Not only is the interface easy to understand (once you know what to look for), but it is also easy and practical to keep clean. Claire: Although my son is older and we are using it from now, this would have been a real time saver from when he was born. Or if they just provided you with a little plastic measuring cup or something for the correct amount of water, otherwise it’s a bit of a guessing game 🤷🏻‍♀️ The bottles don’t have the right measurements marked on them to use them to fill it unfortunately. This isn’t like other sterilisers where you have a specific place for the bottles/teats etc, it all just kind of gets chucked in and the bottles lay flat rather than upright.
