If going away for more than a weekend I use 1 and a 1/2 Icey Tek blocks as well as freezing whatever food I can.

The cheap one gets used for drinks and things that need to be accessed many times a day, the good one gets food and dairy in it and is to be opened as infrequently as possibly. By the time I get around to loading mine up to go, mid morning, the frozen bottles/ice packs that went in the night before are still frozen solid, (but I still replace them again, at this stage, with "fresh" ones) and the inside of the box is dry. Don't forget, you can turn your 70 Litre Icey-Tek into a large and super comfortable bench seat by adding one of our premium seat cushions. Obviously this got expensive, I didn't have a thermometer, the butter was still hard, so it was under 16 C but obviously above 4 C or the frozen ice wouldn't have melted. All I can say is that as long as you follow instructions correctly and pre cool the box 2 days before you go on your trip you cannot go wrong.

This ice chest is the perfect size for short fishing, hunting, camping trips, or gameday tailgating.Also if using ice (we used ice and freezer packs) do remember to poor some of the water out of the bottom each day or food will be swimming.
