About this deal

If you want to use a larger motherboard to get the most out of your system, then look no further than the Eclipse G360A.

Phanteks takes cooling seriously with the Phanteks Eclipse G360A White, featuring ultra-fine mesh panels that strike the perfect balance between high airflow and effective dust filtration. You also have enough clearance from the front panel for inboard or outboard mounting with a total thickness of 31mm. Equipped with the Ultra-fine Mesh front panel, the G360 was designed to meet next gen cooling demands. But as always, for true E-ATX support without blocking important cable cutouts, you should opt for a larger full-tower case when building an E-ATX system, or expect some complications and limitations. While the tempered glass side panel isn’t tinted, it is darkened around the edges, giving it a rounded corner look like a an old-school tube TV or CRT monitor–although obviously, the glass panel is flat. To accommodate these radiators, Phanteks has added plenty of support for multiple fans to be installed within the G360A.

With mounting options for up to seven 120mm or four 140mm fans, alongside support for a 360mm radiator, this case offers unparalleled cooling potential.Discover a new level of gaming excellence with the Phanteks Eclipse G360A White E-ATX Mid Tower PC Case with Airflow. Instead, Phanteks placed plain cutouts on the side of the trench to ensure you can still route everything nicely. Your big Noctua NH-D15 will not fit, though most mid-sized coolers will; our Noctua U12s fit just fine. With the additional rigidity offered by more traditional designs here, it just feels a bit flimsy, and I had some difficulty in getting the bracket holes to line up with two of the three GPUs I test fitted inside the case.

The radiator can be mounted to the top panel of the case, but when it comes to a front mount, you have two options. With its high performance design, the G360A is ready for powerful gaming setups, offering 360 radiator options in the top and front while having plenty of space for full-length GPUs, multiple HDD and SSD locations, and a vertical GPU mounting option. In this review, we will cover the latter and employ the Phanteks AMP 1000-watt PSU alongside the Glacier One 360 MPH AIO, both in white to match. Because the G360A comes with three fans, we tested this case both in its default configuration with all three up front, and with one of the spinners in the rear of the chassis for exhaust. All it took was an increase in cooling capability and a few other little changes (like room for bigger radiators) to make this case better for 2022 and beyond.

The dimensions of the shroud are such that it also acts as an external wall to the bottom of the chassis. The lighting is controlled by a button on the housing or connected to your mainboard via a 5VDG connector. The Phanteks G360A comes with three PWM aRGB fans, and they perform just as good as they look, especially when combined with the fine mesh front panel on this case. The Phanteks G360A is a perfect fit for anyone who loves RGB, thanks to it coming equipped with a digital-RGB (D-RGB) controller. Phanteks has been one of the innovators in the enclosure market over the last several years and many of the features that they introduced have become the industry standard. The side panel is made of tempered glass, which is why it provides an excellent view of the internal components. To put this case through its cooling paces we will be using a test system consisting of an Intel Core i9-12900K, RTX 3080 and an SSD.
