About this deal

With this knowledge, Naples quit his job in Bolivia soon after the Falcon's death, and caught a flight to England. An original thriller, Magpie Murders was published last year and got some of the best reviews I've had.

I was left holding a diamond the diamond size of a peanut" My favorite part of this book is when the police come to rescue Nick. In The Diamond Brothers in… The Blurred Man (2002), the Diamond Brothers investigate the sudden and mysterious death of a charitable philanthropist who suffers chronic allergies that prevent him from meeting almost anyone in person. They both go to John Lewis but meet Gott and Himmell, and they try to elude them and Nick ends up in Santa's Grotto, but Himmell shoots Santa and Nick escapes. But if I haven't heard from you in two days, I think you may wake up to find that something very unpleasant has happened to you.THE FIRST REASON WHY I LIKE THIS BOOK IS BECAUSE BOUT A BOY NAME NICK FIGURING OUT A MYSTERY TO HELP HIS BIG BROTHER AND THE WHOLE POLICE DEPARTMENT. When a dwarf comes into the office and leaves a package, Tim Diamond, the world's worst private-detective, is faced with his toughest case yet. Tim is the world’s worst private investigator, so can the help of his clever younger brother Nick be enough to crack their toughest case yet? Nick manages to step onto the back of the van, but as the van hits 60m/h (96 km/h), he is thrown off and into a wall of cardboard boxes, perhaps he could have held on but he was half drunk. I really liked this plot as it had a lot of detail and description and it was an action and adventure story, which is my favourite genre.

In April 2020, when the fourth full-length Diamond Brothers novel Where Seagulls Dare was announced, it was initially assumed that the novel would have some relation to the Australian-based adventure alluded to at the end of The Greek Who Stole Christmas, but Horowitz quickly confirmed on Twitter that this was not so, and that The Radius of the Lost Shark has still yet to be written. In March 2015, Horowitz then stated in a newspaper interview that there would be at least another six books written by him before continuing The Diamond Brothers series. Nick goes back to the hotel, where Naples was staying, to investigate, while Snape keeps Herbert for interrogation.Although he's around the age of 13-14, and can think on the spot well, I'd have to go for the mastermind behind getting the box of Maltesers, the Fat Man. Anthony Horowitz: The more adventures Alex Rider had, the more I found myself compelled to take this darker edge", The Guardian, 16 March 2015.

It took me about 5 hours to read because I just did not want to put it down, and this book is made for kids but I think this is a gripping comedy/mystery for all ages. The Diamond Brothers is a series of humorous children's detective books by Anthony Horowitz, recounting the adventures of the world's worst private detective, Tim Diamond, and his much more intelligent younger brother, Nick Diamond. In The Diamond Brothers in… Public Enemy Number Two (1987), Nick Diamond is once again thrust into danger by being framed for a jewel heist he didn't commit, so that he'll be forced to go undercover as a jewel thief to find out the true identity of an unknown master criminal known only as "the Fence". In the end, Snape lets them go, but with a caution, saying he doesn't believe them and neither will anybody else. Nick leaves the hotel owner hanging over the flyover and leaves the hotel, not knowing what happened to him and not really caring.
