About this deal

Looks brand new, never used, as does the OEM USB -c braided cable with optional USB-A converter dongled onto the wire. I am going to be doing much more testing with this adapter since it is known to be Kali Linux compatible and able to do Pen Testing. I think I have been watching your YouTube channel 🙂 If you are the same guy then please keep up with the videos. When I sign into the Open Access Point it doesn't take me to the sign-in page (no matter what Portal I use).

Especially when running Kali in a virtual machine you will have to keep in mind some additional details. If you actually mean the Mark VII itself, then the biggest difference is that there is no built in 5 GHz support in the Mark VII, only 2.

Both these methods place the wireless adapter into monitor mode except iwconfig keeps the monitor mode on wlan0 and airmon-ng starts monitor mode on mon0. The Alfa AWUS036ACH didn't work out of the box with Ubuntu, so I Googled around and found a shell script that got it to work.

network and up to 867Mbps for 5GHz network, AWUS036ACH-C connects to your PC with USB type C with AC1200 Wi-Fi technology to provide superb performance. The installation process is relatively straightforward, and the included software offers various options for adjusting settings and optimizing performance. Sales tax : shipments shipped to states in which we are registered to collect tax will have appropriate tax added at checkout.

That said, I did recently pick up a couple of AWUS051NH cards, and those should do 5GHz in Kali out of the box as well! Testing the unit I plugged it into both Windows and Linux (Kali Linux Debian) and it worked with no issues.

Too Long; Didn't ReadThis is a quick how-to for installing the Alpha AWUS036ACH Wi-Fi adapter on Kali Linux. standard routers, AWUS036ACH can achieve throughput speeds up to 867 Mbps, almost three times that of the 802.I know this is an old thread but in case anyone else is interested, I've had good luck with the AWUS036ACH card running Kali on a Raspberry Pi. Since it is a larger unit with big antennas it would be a good fit for a desktop but can also be used with a laptop. I tried the remove and purge steps exactly as you outlined in your post but my wireless card still does not see any APs.

Micro-B connection, and while fast, Micro-B has not been used by many hardware manufacturers in laptops, desktops, or smartphones. The Alfa AWUS036ACH Type-C is a very good wireless USB adapter that has wide compatibility with many operating systems.

However, if you look at the upper right corner of your Linux, you should see that the network manager symbol was replaced by something that is labelled as “networking disabled”. The reason injection numbers suck on this thing is because it channel hops, even when you lock it to a channel. To my understanding at this stage you would suggest the WiFi Pineapple Mark VII with the MK7AC WiFi Adapter because the RTL8812AU from the Alfa ACH has a very bad quality, correct? The ALFA AWUS036ACH Type-C is a high-gain wireless USB adapter that offers impressive connectivity and range, making it a valuable accessory for those seeking enhanced wireless performance.
