Pass the Bomb the Card game is a travel game version of the classic word game. It has a similar gameplay to the classic version, but with two different sets of cards. One set has categories, and the others has letters. You turn both over and frantically come up with words that match the criteria.
That player begins the next round by rolling the die, starting the bomb timer, and turning over the next card.If the bomb timer explodes before the decision is made, and the word is accepted, the player who initially challenged the word loses the round. In such cases, an alternative object must be found by the challenged player before the bomb is passed on. When a challenge is made, the player who has been passed the bomb timer may prefer to say a different word and pass the bomb timer on, rather than run the risk of a challenge being overruled and the bomb timer exploding.
A word may not be used twice in a round, but may be used in a subsequent round. For a more challenging game, do not allow simple derivatives to be used. For example, if "PLAY" has been used, do not use "PLAYS", "PLAYED", "PLAYING", etc. The letters must be used at the end of the word. For example, if the letters on the card are "BO" you could say "MAMBO". Boom Before playing with younger children is a good idea to go through the cards together, so that everybody becomes familiar with the pictures. It's a sad farewell to the long-standing Pass the Bomb collection, but all good things must come to an end! So if you want to enjoy a family fun-night in, then make sure you get your hands on one (or all!) of Pass the Bomb. For example, “types of dogs” that begin with the letter “B.” With only 10 seconds to think of an answer, this is frantic-fun at its finest!
The letters that appear on the card are the letters that must be used in words until the bomb timer explodes. Once the player has correctly used the letters in a word, s/he passes the bomb timer to the player to his/her left.
Controls
The twist? Players only have a limited amount of time to come up with their word or phrase! Once the timer runs out, the bomb “explodes,” and the player holding the bomb is given . If there is a tie, then there will be a play-off between the qualifying players to establish an ultimate winner. The game continues until all 13 cards have been used. The winner is the player holding the least number of cards. The letters printed on the cards must be used in that exact sequence as part of a larger word. For example, "ANT" can be used in "PANT" and "ANTELOPE". It cannot be used in "AUNT" or "ADVENTURE". Any word in common use is allowed, including proper names, brand names, colloquial words, and also foreign words in general use; For example, "BLITZKRIEG".
As soon as all ten cards have been exhausted the game ends. The player who has none or the smallest number of cards wins. Not sure what game to buy next? Play continues until the bomb timer "explodes". The bomb timer will explode randomly between 20 and 90 seconds. Shuffle the cards together. Deal 13 cards into one pile, and put the rest of the cards in a separate pile. The cards are shuffled, and ten cards are dealt face down into the center of the table. The youngest player who is given the bomb starts it by pressing the red button underneath. Sadly, Pass the Bomb has been discontinued, but in its place has appeared the perfect replacement Ka-blab!
