The seal on the Firestrike isn't perfect, so you can load the dart first or last and not affect performance. Remove the AR backplate, and pound out the three support struts using a flathead screwdriver and mallet. It was given a soft release in December of 2012, along with the Strongarm and Stryfe in select retailers. All in all, the Firestrike is a great single shot pistol, and definitely worthy of replacing the aging and popular Nitefinder EX-3.

The Nerf Firestrike blaster features a light beam targeting system for pinpoint accuracy, enabling precision targeting. The Firestrike has the same sort of pathetic focussed LED light as the NF, but instead it is activated by a secondary trigger not unlike that of the Stryfe. It is possible to push the Firestrike's range over 130ft with some good mods and ridiculous springs. As with most N-STRIKE blasters, the Tactical Rail lets you add most N-STRIKE Tactical Rail accessories (sold separately) for more battle capability.There is also a Double Your Darts value pack, as well as an Australian Target-exclusive twin-blaster pack. You could use your Dremel, or maybe even a small hacksaw, but the bolt cutters are SUPER easy, and I had them in hand. This compact blaster's precision light beam targeting gives you laser-like focus even in low-light conditions! The Nerf Elite Firestrike blaster features light beam targeting so battlers can aim with precision even in low-light conditions. This blaster is punching harder, due to less dead space, so I would put ranges at 80-85 feet flat with elites, with an occasional 90.

These people aren't idiots, they just don't mod nerf blasters, and have never heard of speedloaders. Some of our vintage or prior versions of toy and game instructions may be more difficult to decipher or have less clarity. Thanks, I had never heard of that spring before, I'll have to give it a go, the prospects are intriguing.

This is a great little gun the laser target is a great feature and lots of power in the top chamber, a bit less in the two lower ones.
