We’ve previously reported on the LEGO Official Annual 2023, which comes with an arguably worse version of the Crook Ice minifigure included with 60314 Ice Cream Truck Police Chase. Next up is the LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian Official Annual 2023, which boasts a Greef Karga minifigure and two blaster pistols.

The fact that LEGO thrills by sending sets for reviews and other tests obviously does not influence my opinion on these products. Crook Ice from 60314 Ice Cream Truck Police Chase is admittedly one of CITY’s more inventive characters in recent years, sporting vivid blue hair and a mascot-style ice cream cone costume. LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Brick and Knob configurations, the Minifigure and NINJAGO are trademarks of the LEGO Group. Meet next-door neighbours Molly and Janice who are both in their seventies and are determined to live full lives for many years yet!

The short story Desert Island featuring the Castaway character was a fun comic book style read that we found really funny.If they're Lego likers and they like ice cream they'll probably like this book because it has a weird Lego ice cream girl thingy at the front. Best suited for age six we thought - any younger and you'd need someone who can read all the instructions to you but I know lots of adults who would enjoy this too so don't think anyone would struggle to find a willing adult Lego reader!
