Once most of the water is out of the washing machine it's best to let any last drops to drain out on to a towel. Now we simply need to replace the filter making sure that it is tightened securely and replace the drain hose.

Remove or open the cap on the end of the hose and empty any trapped water from the machine before opening the pump filter.
