Within each episode, something is found by one of the three Fimbles (Fimbo, Florrie or baby Pom) who populate the Purple Meadow. The show's real star is left to last: the irrepressible Rockit the frog bounces all over the place causing chaos and hilarity simultaneously. Their surroundings are also very colourful but still bare a resemblance to the things that children may see around them. Roly mole and Rocket the frog are lovely characters for children to associate with Roly takes the form of a kind of teacher who tells stories relating to the subject and Rocket takes the form of the less intelligent, who the fimbles have to explain things to.

I have a six-month old daughter who loves the Fimbles - whatever she's playing with when they come on is forgotten, and she sits or lies on her playmat and watches, completely spellbound.
