About this deal

In this safe haven, I can confess my excitement, my arousal at watching the woman be bound and racked until her limbs snapped. If you are fascinated by serial killers on a level that is not wholly academic👀 and you put yourself in a position to have unlimited access to them. My head is spinning with so many questions right now, I can’t even articulate what I want to say without dropping some much needed F bombs.

I loved the way Grayson stroked London’s childhood history out of her and I loved her physical response to him. this book probably won't change your life and i think some of the psychology was dubious and a little overdone. It's officially been a day since I've become one entire year older and to be honest I don't feel it?

This book wasn't super spicy, I'm hoping book 2 has a little bit more, but what was there was great! I need more time to arrange my emotions, but one thing that I know is that this is definitely a fantastic book. This is by far one of my favorite reads of the year and I won’t be telling you that I think you should read it. Throwback to that time last year when I'd gotten so good at folding paper swans that I'd managed to pretty perfectly fold this nano Swan that fit in the pads of my thumb. I think it was Annika Martin (yes, the author), who first brought this book to my attention in her newsletter.

and Grayson Pierce Sullivan (inmate number six, one, four) a convicted killer (the Angel of Maine) that London is psych analysing his disturbed clinical behaviours. That’s not funny but it does make an interesting, involving with a lot of twists and turns that lives you wanting more read. In his therapy sessions with London we catch glimpses of his ingenuity and sometimes beneath his cold, hard veneer you could peek just a hint of vulnerability.

As I said before, I do consider it a bit more of a psychological thriller than a romance, but it still had some romantic elements. Man was running laps around my brain and I was just left staring at him while he caused chaos up there. London Noble è una psicologa, una brava, davvero brava, e decide di iniziare delle sedute con Grayson Pierce Sullivan, un uomo condannato per tanti omicidi. But she didn’t play the cold and cunning card as well as he did and I wished there was more character development on both their parts. But London hides a secret- a deadly past that if were to come out, could destroy not just her career, but her entire life. I loved the pull between out two main characters and the sexual tension that came with it, the book seemed to focus more on this rather than the overarching plot which I really enjoyed. I’m going to do two things right now- add Wolfe to my to-look-out-for authors list and then start Born, Madly.

The dialogue felt a bit robotic and monotone, but that was defeated by the over empowering monologue with both the characters. I feel like I need a little break between book one and two, but I’ll for sure get to the second one soon enough.I'm a professional sarcasm enthusiast, slow-burn romance addict, and honestly an idiot prone to random acts of entirely unprompted ranting over whatever story I've presently been hooked onto. This book set out to take the Robin Hood complex with it's romance, we saw the equally deranged and broken thought processes of both Grayson and London. A dark and twisted maze awaits criminal psychologist London Noble when she falls for her patient, convicted serial killer, Grayson Pierce Sullivan. They were like two different poles of a magnet, attracting each other, unable to fight the gravitational pull.
