I’m really enjoying how this book is set out with the multiple panels and the reserved use of dialogue for the protagonist, Sonny. The storytelling is par excellence, with a character that you begin to feel for, much like the first John Wick movie. Where Remender’s script lacks words, André Lima Araújo’s illustrations more than make up for it in astronomical proportions. However, the abundance of silent sequences might hinder full emotional investment in the plot's development. The Professional meets Road to Perdition in this story of a family's unlikely guardian being hunted by rich and powerful men who are used to getting away with everything.
