Light and easy to use the longer handles would be great, but looking forward to trying out the 22 mm benders. The only thing that may be useful to have is some markings to indicate the angles to which you can bend eg. These benders feel well made, pulls perfect bends with ease, fits in my tool bag and no need to carry a guide as it's all built in.

From personal experience, I can now recommend stripping the tool before using it and greasing the roller sleeves and main pivot fulcrum bolt and in use, to develop a smooth constant pressure on the actuator arms if the user wishes to avoid inner curve wrinkles.The former guide is plastic and moves around, plus I don't like that the two arms are detached with no way to lock them together. It will only do 15 millimetre copper pipe, if you want to do 22mm you would need additional pipe bender to 22mm. I've got the 15 mil one and these go onto the bottom and protect surfaces, but they don't always last.

We have included bending angles of 30 45 60 and 90 degrees on the XV and XVL 15mm versions and an additional 75 degree angle on the 22mm version; these are easily visible on the Former of each bender. I'll look forward to using this a lot more in the future, making the jobs just that little bit easier. Ease of use all depends on your personal strength but I find it excellent that I can remain in a kneeling position and use the bender with no problem. I think it's a superb product and build quality is great which I have come to expect from Monument Tools.

They have aluminium diecast formers, CNC turned steel handles with knurling for improved grip and integral replaceable nylon guides. The pipe bender itself comes in two actual parts which simply clip together to create a pipe bender.

If you compare to the Bahco 15mm bender at 3x the cost, this is great value for money, doesn't do 180 degree bends but looks just the same if you do two 90 degree bends close together. The pipe bender is suitable for tubes of diameter 12-15 mm and 15-22 mm and can bend tubes up to an angle of 180 degrees. Plus, find more accessories in our collection, like replacement multi-bender guides and internal bending springs. All in, it's a super simple, super easy, convenient bit of kit that comfortably fits in your tool bag. It's a lot neater, all in all I think it's fantastic, really good, really quality British made bit of kit.But what I love with the Monument benders is even though they're much smaller in size, there are still no problems with bending 15mm pipe. What you get in the box is a Velcro strap for storage and transport, the pipe bender which comes in two pieces, and two extension pieces on the actual pipe bender.
