About this deal

The difference between this and CA(no idea what batch was the one that I smelled) is obvious in the opening. This is wear the fragrance gets 'tough' for me as I don't like projection monsters, it doesn't fit my personality. Having that in mind, when I hear something being referred to as the “King” of masculine fragrances, I have to wonder. Long-lasting and dependable, this Al Haramain middle eastern perfume will certainly keep those heads turning. I also had a FB of the original L'Aventure EDP but it was the same effect to my nose as the CDNIM EDP/Parfum.

I don't get pineapple at all, more like sweet orange with earthiness that I'm finding out is not one of my favorite scent profiles to wear. I have sprayed this frag on skin and on clothes, staying mostly in an airconditioned environment, but it just does not satisfy. That slight smokiness will intensify once the bergamot fades into the background and the lemon and elemi mimic pineapple. It has the most beautiful opening of all the Aventus-y fragrances I own, including Montblanc Explorer. I wanted to pick up the fragrance because I have heard great things about it and after owning it the fragrance does smell good, but as I said above this is the worst-performing fragrance I have ever bought.

Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Español, Français, Čeština, Italiano, Русский, Polski, Português, Ελληνικά, 汉语, Nederlands, Srpski, Română, العربية, Українська, Монгол, עברית. And yes, I have nothing better to do with my time and money other than collect Aventus clones of varying quality. It stays fairly linear from opening to the dry down but with a gradual fading of the punchy citrus and a subtle emergence of hints of the wood and patchouli notes. If you're a hardcore frag head, you probably wouldn't even consider this over Aventus, but my wallet is grateful that L'Aventure exists. After wearing it a few days after purchasing it I was initially unimpressed, as to my nose it smelled exactly like CDIM.Yes, its not as strong as CDNIM but off my skin it is comparable to if not slightly better than modern batches of aventus. The first time I sprayed L'Adventure, I was a bit surprised by the strong citrus/lemon scent in the opening. i honestly felt the urge to ask the guys sitting next to me if it was them until i sniffed my jacket properly.

However on an EXACT side by side comparison L’Adventure completely blows Aventus out of the water now, in terms of a better more refined and stronger opening, and much stronger projection and much longer longevity. Starting out, this strikes me as being both closer to Aventus than CDNI in some ways, and further away in others. I been wearing several other more expensive colognes, and this was the first unsolicited complement I have ever gotten. All that to say, I still need to find a bottle of Aventus to experience, and critique it for myself.Ok, so when it comes to Creed Aventus clones L'Aventure have the exact same start for me when I smell from close distance, after some time Aventus is going more smoth and losing little bit of sillage staying natural when L"Aventure stays louder and little bit synthetic. Whether that scent was the "King" Aventus or one of its many clones, I will never know but all I know is this is my favorite scent. If at any time you would like to opt out from marketing, you can visit the Privacy Preferences page and select the relevant options. I can smell that fruitiness and pinapple from L'Adventure (although pineapple is not listed in the notes) for hours after we get past the first hour.
