The F200 Pro is compatible with various rear cameras, one of which can be selected as an optional extra.

When paired with the optional GPS Antenna (GPSANT, sold separately), you will be able to access additional safety features from the dash cam. Not only will it record speed, time and location data; it also activates the Advanced Driving Alert System (ADAS) including Lane Departure (LDWS), Forward Collision (FCWS), Urban Forward Collision (uFCWS) and Front Vehicle Departure (FVDW). You will also receive Safety Camera Alerts for speed and red-light cameras. As we said in the intro, this is a fairly compact dash cam, at least by Thinkware’s standards. It takes up more windscreen real estate than any member of the Garmin Dash Cam range, but we think it’s still satisfyingly compact.

Record your journeys in Full HD 1080p, saving them to the 16GB memory card (included, can be upgraded to 64GB) giving you a reliable witness in the event of an incident. The 140° wide-angle lens ensures you capture all the detail you need. Footage is recorded to a MicroSD card that can be removed and transferred to a PC or Mac using the memory card adaptor provided. No need to format the card manually as when the memory card is full old footage is automatically recorded over. You can alter the sensitivity for the G sensor’s incident capturing, and enable a parking mode so the cameras will record if they detect motion when your vehicle is stationary. You can set some voltage limits for this, so the F200 doesn’t drain your battery below a certain level. It’s also possible to enable or disable safety camera warnings (which require the optional GPS, of which more in the next section). The standard Rear Camera is easily installed onto the inside of the rear window and records any events which occur behind the vehicle. The External Rear View Camera is suitable for vehicles which don’t allow for an internal rear camera and also records footage of any incidents from the rear-view of the vehicle.Faulty products will be replaced as soon as we are able to verify the fault and ship another to you.
