Whether they’ll step out of the constraints of the norm and be willing to forge a new path. Either together or alone. If a scientist could figure out how to align the heart with the brain, there would be very little agony left in the world." Honestly, why do I bother with the human life?? I might as well become a part of the floor so Colleen Hoover has an ACTUAL reason to step on me. Like YouTube has so many tutorial videos on so many things. Maybe someone out there felt nice enough to upload a tutorial video on, “How to become a part of the Floor?”

This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.

God—perfect [is] His way, | The saying of YHWH is tried, | He [is] a shield to all those trusting in Him. We immediately understand that this is a woman who wants to have a child desperately but can’t and it’s slowly tearing her on the inside that she can’t and is barely holding on. Quinn’s POV benefited a lot from Hoover’s sparse but emotional prose which captured Quinn’s pain so well. I’m not even sure I want to confront Ethan. Part of me wants to walk away and pretend the last few minutes didn’t happen. I could text him and tell him I came home early and he could tell me he’s working late and I could remain blissfully ignorant. God—His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is pure. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. And no mater what has happened since we closed this box or what will happen after we open it, I promise to love you through it all.As for God, his way is perfect. The word of the LORD is pure. As for God, His way is blameless; The word of Yahweh is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. I mean, everyone needs a man like Graham who can write how much they love you until the point it hurts. In his most recent letter, he mentioned how he knew Quinn was there when he held his nephew and that she must have heard him say he was devastated to not be a father yet. What he meant was he was devastated for Quinn. Graham shakes his head a little and says, “I’m not looking for reasons to excuse the bastard, but that’s not so bad. A lot of guys don’t know how to change a tire.”Disclaimer: I HAVE read this book. So my judgement is as valid as any of yours. I was polite enough not to rate this one star like it deserves, however that changes now. Colleen Hoover has the power to draw you into the world of her characters and make you forget everything else. You feel like you are living life with the characters in it and for me my friends make an amazing book and they are my main reason for this 5 star rating. It may be a heartbreaking and sad book, but it was powerful and meaningful and I am in awe of Colleen’s talent. God’s way is unerring; the LORD’s promise is refined; he is a shield for all who take refuge in him. Have an open and honest discussion about infertility and the societal pressures placed on women to be mothers with members of your book club and/or at home with your family and friends. I did get emotional but I didn't cry and that was only because of Graham's character and his affection/words. Graham deserves someone better than Quinn and I stand by that.
